Update: The general manager, Michael, reached out to me in light of my review below. He showed concern after reading my review and was very attentive to my concerns and improving the overall quality of his restaurant/waiters. His care for the restaurant's patrons illustrates his true leadership, generosity, and commitment to Ruth's Chris's brand. He even compensated my husband and I with a gift card which is much appreciated. I will definitely be back to visit this specific location.The food was excellent as usual. However, we had a very slow, inattentive waiter. Passed my table a few times, looked, and didn’t say anything numerous times. Maybe he couldn’t handle the number of tables he had. He never offered me another cocktail after seeing my glass was empty so I just drank water served from the busboy. I would expect better service which is why I chose this restaurant for New Years Eve dinner. Left before midnight despite free champagne offered to patrons. That says a lot. I have changed my review - Original review: The steak was good but the crab cakes were terrible. Tasted like old crab meat and had no flavor other than old crab. Okay I got a call from the GM at the Tyson Corner restaurant where we ate. He was very nice and we talked about the crab cakes. I was very impressed with the level and quality of their food. It's obviously a chain steak house with all of the typical fare.
The steak was among the top 3-4 that I have enjoyed. I had the Porterhouse steak, roasted brussels sprouts, potatoes au gratin and cream of spinach.

Amazing venue, stunning ambiance, lush interior, romantic outside eating scene with privacy. I was in town for #Vidcon and decided to spend my last night here. Although it was fairly chilly thatnight, our waiter sat us close to the fireplace. The seating was perfect so we could enjoy the outside air and the warm fire. I can't help it, I am a service snob! I am coming to your establishment to be treated kindly and eat an extravagant meal I couldn't prepare.
I wouldn't expect anything other than the 5 star treatment from a national treasure like Ruth Chris ( especially the one closest to the happiest place on Earth!)
I like my Pellegrino water served cold with lots of lime on the side I got it quickly I like my Patron Silver on the rocks with more lime on the side the bartender was very generous.
I personally could skip the bread but it was good they kept it coming for my friends, I like to eat well but I'm still trying to fit into a size medium.
I had my prime rib with the lump crab, asparagus and Bearnaise sauce with a side of the lobster macaroni and cheese to die for heaven!
Absolutely everyone was very friendly from the valet parking to the receptionist to our waiter to the manager who came by and checked on us twice. The meal was outstanding the service was wonderful and the bartender deserves a standing ovation!!

Steak was good but not the best I've ever had, all the other food and service was exceptional.
However, I order a old fashioned and the glass was filled all the way to the top with ice.
I felt like I had 3 to 4 drinks and it was gone. Disappointed because the cost of a cocktail isn't cheap.

Always an enjoyable experience at Ruth Chris steakhouse in Tyson's. Best steak in the area served piping hot with great sides. Our favorite side is the mashed potatoes. 5th time here and will finally conclude that this restaurant is my favorite steak house in Southern California. This location is not as grandiose as Pasadena's, but considering the proximity to Disney Land, I wouldn't have expected it to be as such. Consistency of food quality, flavor, and customer service (all above expectations) is what is remarkable about this restaurant. Although some steak enthusiasts believe butter is a cop-out way to disguise the true nature of a steak, it wouldn't be the same without it at this restaurant. We celebrated Easter at Ruth Chris. The atmosphere is calming and the service is impeccable. Our party ordered crab cakes,barbecue shrimp, rib eye steak,and a petite filet and all were delicious. The wedge salad is to die for, and our sides of brussel sprouts,mashed potatoes and french fries were great. Our grandson had banana cream pie to top off his lunch. Ruth's is always a special meal!!! I have never had any thing that wasn't as described on the menu. I enjoyed the surf(broiledMaine lobster tail) and turf (16oz filet mignon). The taste and texture of both dishes was excellent. The only and i emphasize minor drawback was the size of the tail everyone likes a BIG TAIL when it is Lobster. I went on Saturday and I really enjoyed their food. I got the bone in rib eye steak, I believe it's called cowboy steak not sure, but super delicious with mushrooms and potatoes for our sides. Ruben, our waiter, great customer service and treated us really special. The only thing I didn't enjoy were the drinks. Maybe it was the drink I got, gin and ginger ale mixed with some other ingredients, but it wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be. Everything and I mean everything was delicious! I'm the type that doesn't like to try new things but from the appetizers to my icy water was good!
I also tried their mixed drinks! Just perfect.
I definitely give this place five stars.
My husbands work place hosted their Christmas dinner here so I wouldn't know how much everything was but I am so thankful they had us dine here, it might be pricey but worth it. Also loved how one of the waitress explained to me who Ruth was (because I asked) and he was so kind and just knew what he was talking about. Thanks so much. Ruth.

It's a well known steak House for good reason. The fillet I had was done prefectly and tasted great. My colleagues had a bone in fillet and a 24 oz side of cow. Both reported to be very pleased with their choices. I had a side of mushrooms and they were nearly as good as the steak. Service was just right. We never waited to long for anything. Yeah it's not cheap, so if you're concerned about price look elsewhere. My fillet was $42, the bone in fillet was $56, I don't recall the price of the 24 oz steak. Everything is a la carte. Enjoy!
