Mike went above and beyond to find the perfect spot to take our maternity photos. We love our pictures and are so impressed with how they turned out! Mike Greener was more than we could have ever hoped for in a wedding photographer. I'm not sure where we can even begin to describe our experience in working with him, but I can say that in short, he truly helped make our wedding day not only memorable but extraordinary.

My husband loathes, absolutely detests getting his picture taken, however thoroughly loved having Mike there and felt like he was part of the wedding party! The compliments we received from our family, friends, wedding party and guests all not only mentioned our photographer but raved about him and his dedication to get the perfect shot - ideal lighting and angel. Whether that meant standing up on a table, crouching down in the wet grass or shimmying in between pavilion poles, we were amazed by his passion to his profession. The mother of the bride commented on his creativity and how well he fit in with each and every one of our guests.

Having just got married the one thing I would recommend to all other brides in planning their wedding is don't skimp on a photographer. Your big day will be an absolute whirl wind and a blur.

Seeing Mike's images brought me to tears.... His ability to capture all the moments, the little looks between loved ones, the small details we missed will be something we will treasure for the rest of our lives.

While we are reviewing a “wedding photographer”, Mike Greener is so much more than that and it was our privilege to have the opportunity to work with Mike.

Mike was recommended to us by a family member familiar with his work and we reached out to him about photographing our wedding. During our initial conversation with him regarding how we had met and what we had in mind for our day, we quickly became convinced he would be a good choice for us. He listened sincerely to our desires to catch the special moments between our family and friends and was delighted at the occasionally odd additions we had (our wedding featured a large war hammer).
During our engagement shoot, Mike's enthusiasm and energy was infectious, a good thing when encouraging two introverts who didn't particularly like being photographed to come out of their shells. We laughed for much of the shoot and felt like the photographs truly reflected how much we loved each other.
He was just as effective during our wedding day, appearing seemingly everywhere to catch the candid moments of laughter and celebration and encouraging smiles from everybody in the family portraits.
We loved our photos, enjoyed the time Mike was around, and never had a problem with communication. I would highly recommend him for your wedding day or a more intimate shoot. More...

Mike shot my wedding in 2015 and still 3 years later I walk into our living room and see his photos of my wife and I on our special day and it puts a smile on my face. These days are even better because next to the wedding photos are pictures of our 2 kids that we had Mike shoot this summer. His photography speaks for itself, but where he really shines is his ability to make us, his clients, feel so comfortable and relaxed with him that we forget he is even there capturing these candid moments. Our outdoor wedding was in Alaska and it was raining, but Mike rose to the challenge and captured the beauty of the moment so when I look at our photos, I sometime forget how rainy it really was. Mike is an excellent photographer who is fun to work with. He was prompt to respond to all communications and easy to work with from day 1. Behind the lens he is friendly and professional, and he has a talent for making his subjects feel comfortable. At our wedding he seemed to be enjoying himself just as much as any of the guests, everybody had a great time being photographed by him, and we had several people comment on how much fun it was to have him around. The joy he takes from his work is obvious and it shows in the quality of his photos. He is quick to smile and didn’t seem to miss an opportunity for a great shot. May I just say how thrilled I am that my sister hired Mike Greener as her wedding photographer? His warmth, energy and enthusiasm made the day all the more wonderful for us all. Mike was able to capture so many details, expressions, and special moments without ever getting in the way. My sister, friends, family and I couldn't have been happier to have him with us to document the weekend-long occasion. When the bride endured some wedding stress, Mike helped her re-focus on the positives of the day, keeping her laughing and making her feel beautiful. His pictures were a reflection of that positivity. My husband and I met Mike through mutual friends several years ago while he was living in Davis, CA and just starting his wedding photography business. We came to know Mike as a friend, but also admired his work. So when it came time for our wedding, there was no question that we wanted Mike to be our photographer, even if we had to fly him from Montana to CA. We have zero regrets. Mike’s positive energy and supportive attitude made him a blast to work with. He kept the focus on what we wanted, rolled with last-minute changes, and provided his own ideas and creative vision in an enthusiastic way. At the end of the weekend, I kept hearing the same thing from numerous family members: “Best wedding photographer EVER!” And that was before we saw the photos. To say that I was pleased with Mike's work is an enormous understatement. My wedding photos from Mike are the most gorgeous photos I've ever had. More importantly, they capture the joy, excitement, beauty, and overwhelming love that I felt on that day. There are so many PERFECT photos that it will be almost impossible to choose which ones to frame. From day one, Mike was communicative and responsive, and always relaxed and cheerful. At the wedding, his presence was one of calm competence. I gave him a list of family portraits to take, and he corralled our family into place with cheer and good humor. He was a pleasure to be around -- one of my guests even commented how nice it was to see the photographer having FUN doing his job. My guests loved Mike, and he made all of us feel so comfortable. And during those times when you want to pretend he's not there, he disappears: During the ceremony, I never once saw him or his partner, and yet the photos they captured during the ceremony are some of my absolute favorites.The bottom line is that Mike's skills are unparalleled -- you will, without doubt, LOVE your photos. Just as important, he is a joy to be around. The photographer may be the person you have the most one-on-one time with during your wedding, besides your spouse-to-be; you want that person to be fun, easy-going, and charming.
