Joe is very professional and knowledgeable. He is very amiable and his communications skills are excellent. He gave us a number of suggestions for flooring, lighting, ventilation and fireplace. He was very patient, and we never felt that he was making the decisions for us. Our home is over 60 years old and we had a number of unique challenges. When an issue arose, we addressed them as a team. His crew was very competent - and creative. He's instilled in his people the need to communicate clearly and directly with us as their work progressed. We highly recommend him, and have already done so to our friends. We have used Code Construction a few times for our business needs and Joe Logan has always done an excellent job. Joe Logan was a life saver.
A leak in the condo above us turned our kitchen into a moldy mess.
We worked with Joe to redesign our kitchen. . He helped us pick out new flooring, cabinets, counter tops and appliances. Joe walked us through insurance claims and made sure there were pictures to verify the moldy water damage and pictures of the new construction.
Best of all, most of the work was done while we were out of town.

Code Construction is great, and Joe, the owner, is the easiest contractor I have ever worked with. The original kitchen in our newly purchased condo, was so awful. ..Built in the 80’s, it was totally separated from the rest of the house by walls, that really made it seem small with a lot of wasted space. Code Construction did an excellent job bringing my home back to it’s former glory after being gutted as part of a mold remediation protocol. Code Construction worked closely with the Mold Remediation Contractor to keep the project on schedule and completed all drywall, painting, and carpentry work on budget. When someone comes to my home today, there is no trace of any of the work that was completed which is a job well done in my book. We were blessed to find Joe Logan and Code Construction as recommended by our home owners insurance and remediation companies. We had a flooding and mold disaster occur at our “vacation condo”. After arriving for our mid year vacation we had to react immediately.

Once we called Joe he was here immediately and set his contractor cadre in gear. After the remediation Joe started our whole house remodeling. Because of living in Rochester, NY he and his contractors kept us informed of every detail via emails and photos. When we returned to our condo we were awe-struck with such an incredibly beautiful job. All new cabinetry in our kitchen & bathroom, new plumbing, can lights and provided us with a unique innovation to save space & functions.

We went with Joe based upon the recommendation of a neighbor. I’m so happy with what Joe and his team have done that I want to adopt him. He is quick to respond to messages, consistently performs well in advance of schedule, everything is perfectly done and his subcontractors are expertly taken care of. His design ideas are topnotch and he works with us to economize time and cost. His team are extremely professional, they actually keep the site clean, and well ran at all times. Although we live in Maryland, they are working daily, Joe sends photos weekly, and allows our neighbor in to inspect what he has done during the week so she can report back to us as well.
My wife will join in later as well as she is extremely happy with Joe's work.

Code Construction did a major remodel on our house, removing a fireplace, taking down walls, painting all walls and trim, and installing wood floors throughout the house. They were always on time, always willing to make changes as we went (with a smile) and extremely courteous, very clean and punctual. They finished everything within the estimated time frame they gave us. Joe Logan always inspected everything to make sure we were satisfied with the work. He offered suggestions to us based on his experience remodeling homes. He managed the subcontractors and made sure they showed up when they were suppose to. They made our renovation as smooth and easy as possible which is saying a LOT since we lived in ur home during the renovation of the kitchen, master bed, master bath and one of the living areas! Very Dependable. The work was done as requested. The workers went above and beyond what was promised. I did not have to be at the property to make sure that the work was being done. They left the property neat and orderly. They even bought air fresheners to put in the rooms and was very inviting. I recently had Code Construction Co. repair a water damaged Florida room for me and I would like to share with the public how happy I am.

I started out checking with a neighbor who used Code to have a new kitchen put in for her. The workmanship was absolutely beautiful and that’s when I decided I could trust Code to do the same for me.

Joe’s Logan’s crew came in early, got to work removing two walls, two windows, and a door. They also removed a window from the third wall that I considered was bringing in too much sun for comfort. All of this was done right on plan. The room is beautiful inside and out and neighbors come by and ask, “what company did this for you…beautiful job!” It was a joy to tell them, CODE Construction Company in Clearwater.

One other thing I did notice was that the really nice crew was gracious about putting drop clothes over my carpet and neat about picking up the mess each day, of which I was grateful.

We postponed our major remodel project several years ago due to the cost-prohibitive quotes we received. Then, late last year, we were referred to Joe Logan at Code Construction. Let me just say that the person that referred us to Joe is in the construction industry and said "he is the most honest person I know". Joe gave us a very fair quote and we were able to do more than we had originally planned based on his quote. We essentially gutted the middle part of our house, leaving only the master bedroom and our sons' bedrooms on either side. Joe was always available for questions and responded pretty much immediately whenever we texted or emailed him and was at the site every day. He had excellent suggestions for changes to the plan that made the remodel project work much better. He always provided an itemized list of work and charges when there was a change that we could approve or not approve before moving forward. I was impressed by the professional demeanor, assisting me with a bathroom remodel and my insurance claim, which is a first for me. He will start today 2/29/16 with the demolition of the drywall and shower and I will write progress reports as we proceed.

Joe's team were punctual, hard working, polite and exceptionally neat. I had three windows replaced, water damage to the interior and exterior wall repaired (cut out and replaced) and new stucco applied. They prepared the area thoroughly before starting work, performed the work quickly, cleaned up really well after each day's work and were as unobtrusive as possible. They also did a little extra work (their suggestion) at no extra cost.

Last September, we remodeled our entire condo. A major component of the project was to insulate the ceilings for sound. We hired Code Construction for the ceiling job, plumbing, and electrical, and demo work. We needed a general contractor's expertise for the ceiling as the scope of work was complex in nature. The existing ceilings were removed, Roxul wool insulation installed; isolation clips were attached to the steel joists, new hat channel, two layers of new drywall, and Spanish lace texture to finish. The fire sprinklers also had to be lowered. Joe Logan is an excellent project manager and his workers highly skilled, friendly, and respectful. He coordinated his work with the other contractors working on the rest of the remodeling which helped keep the entire project on time. His easy going nature and upbeat can do attitude helped make the process go much smoother than expected. There are always unforeseen issues that arise. The key is to address them quickly and honestly with the client. Joe identied those issues and resolved them quickly. His communication and people skills are excellent. I hope this is my last remodeling project ever but if I had another house to redo, I would definitely hire Code Construction to do the work. More...

Unbeknownst to me, my main drain line from my kitchen sink sprung a leak and silently leaked water into a wall and behind my kitchen cabinets. The damage wasn't apparent until it was too late...there was water damage in my wall, under my cabinets and into my floor. Code Construction was simply amazing in helping me navigate through what could have been a very difficult and complicated kitchen restoration project -- with ease. I did plenty of research when choosing a GC to remodel my Tampa home. After countless interviews, bids and appointments, I decided to hire Joe Logan with Code Construction. Code Construction successfully performed a COMPLETE remodel of my newly purchased home. The home was built in the late 90s, we literally changed every door, screw, light fixture, socket, ripped out the entire kitchen, laundry room, all bathrooms, bedrooms, closets, knocked down walls, replaced the roof, reran pipes, water, gas, and SO MUCH MORE. Everything that can be remodeled was replaced. During the entire project, Joe was so incredibly transparent, honest, ON TIME and so detail oriented this process was actually fun and exciting. Joe uses technology to communicate with you, he is fast, very organized and catalogues everything you tell him, whether its in a text, an email or a face to face discussion, he remembers. You never have to say things twice, it GETS DONE. He had my best interests in mind 100% of the time, and his #1 concern is having the job done right. Joe looks for tiny details that the average consumer does not see. He has a team of 4 other men on his staffs that also are incredibly detailed, always on time, CLEAN and also had my best interests in mind. Joe Logan did an outstanding job in my home. He was professional at all times, trustworthy, kept on budget, communicated frequently and accurately throughout the entire project and met all timelines established. I had a flood, knock out kitchen, bathroom & one bedroom. Code Constrution is a GREAT company, they came right away, estimate quickly and helped with insuance claim. I needed walls, cabinets, plumbing, electric, tile and painting. They did it all and a great job, which is hard to do tile and wall construction at the same time, but there team works quickly. And they clean up there mess and take the garbage with thim.
Also I liked the ideal I didn't have to pay any money right away!
