very good sandwich. No photos as I devoured it in my car. Im currently trying to cut body fat and didn't make my tuna for the day. everyone at my job swears by this place and I had to give it a try. When I arrived by 1ish, I assumed it would be crowded but it wasn't which was a plus for me because i was hungry. There were so many options but Im learning this thing called discipline so I stuck with my tuna sandwich on a roll and opted for arugula instead of regular lettuce. Let me tell you about the roll, no regular bacon and egg cheese roll from the corner store! It was fresh, soft and fluffy. The tuna wasn't plain jane and for seven bucks the sandwich was solid. Whenever you see a place filled with blue color guys then you know you're in for a good meal. Philly was delish and I can't wait to try the chicken parm made with vodka sauce the next time I'm in the area.

Been following this place for a while and after them posting this amazing looking sandwich with ravioli, chicken cutlet and vodka sauce I had to try it. We got there around 3 o'clock on a Saturday saying that they closed around four or so and unfortunately they ran out of the raviolis for the sandwich. Huge letdown, they offered penne, but I felt like I would be cheating myself.Super friendly and courteous staff, offered several options but my wife ended up getting the godmother, which was thinly sliced eggplant, fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, which I'm not a fan of and I got the cumare . It was a barbecue chicken sandwich with bacon, mozzarella and bbq sauce of course. I opted with cheddar instead of mozzarella, kind of think that was a mistake after having tried my wife's sandwich. Both were really really good, however I thought the godmother was better. Definitely can't go wrong with either. The cumare had Just the right amount of barbecue sauce, bacon and cheese. Great ratio on each bite. After eating both, we didn't have that overly full, feeling like a fat piece of shit regret that you sometimes get when eating fried food.I definitely recommend stopping in here and trying any sandwich on the menu, I'll definitely be back and I'll make sure to come earlier so I can finally try that amazing looking vodka sauce ravioli hero.Again, to reiterate, the staff was great, friendly and courteous. A great deli in College Point, Queens. It has a vast selection of food options combined with the daily lunch special menu. The lunch specials are delicious and served hot. One of my favorite lunch special items is the BBQ brisket hero. (Thinly sliced BBQ brisket, homemade coleslaw, and Russian dressing). They also do a fantastic shrimp parm hero. I cannot say enough about Benateri's. It is high end deli, the food is great and the portions are great. They have a full spread of home cooked food for the lunch menu and an unlimited sandwhich menu. They are willing to accommodate specialty sandwiches too. Ordered lunch for the office, so we got to see many different items and not a single person was disappointed. I had the Benateri's Classic, onion rings, fries and sweet potato fries. Fries were a bit soggy and cold by the time they reached our office, we'll just skip these sides next time and stick with sandwiches or salads. Everyone enjoyed their salads, with or without chicken, and sandwiches were perfect size for the price, if you are not starving, you can share one full hero sandwich if you have some sides and drinks to go with.I wish they had parking so we could actually go and order in person, parking is the only problem in the area. The bacon egg on a roll is awesome. Coffee is first class . A must go to place . Ask for Benny he's the owner , a great guy and makes a killer sandwich or platter . This is by far the best deli that I've been too for Italian sandwiches. Definitely a great authentic Italian taste along with Italian sized servings. They have different daily options to choose from and all are great. The staff there is very nice too. Specifically have had many conversations with Angelo and Beny. Both good funny guys and care about their customers. I'd recommend anything on their menu but I always get the godfather or the delish but again you can't go wrong with anything. More...
