Being new to the area I needed to find a place that could handle my cocker spaniel with extra gentle care. My dog gets very nervous and scared, but as soon as I walked in, they were calm with him. They went down to him, slowly getting to know him, to assure him he was okay.
His haircut was great, very even and smooth. His mohawk was perfectly trimmed too!! The facility is very open and inviting, you can even see your pet as they're being groomed, so you know what's going on at all times. I think we've finally found the perfect groomer for my Romeo More...

I called this groomer only because mine had made and rescheduled twice in a row on me and I was desperate to have my dog groomed. I looked online for a groomer nearby and landed on them. I hadn't been able to keep up with my little Shih Tzu like I normally would since I had my baby so it was time to pamper my dog Panda since he'd been so good to us and the baby. I called and the price wasn't bad and they could groom him same day if i brought him. I brought him in and told them I wanted to keep him long but to shorten around his head since that's where he gets knots and he had 4 really bad ones by his ears. When I got him back he was the most adorable I had ever seen. They had to basically shave the ears which I knew but they did a GREAT job of evening him out and he looks like a teddy bear. He also came home more relaxed than he ever has from a groomer. They are definitely Pandas new groomers. I like the place a lot I really did even the owner Joyce is a true DIVA, even though I was not sure about animal palace so Joyce offered me a free promotion to get me in the door. ... I even loved the haircut given by the groomer but the lady at the front desk had absolutely no customer service and was very rude when I ask about the free blueberry facial u should receive when paying cash... She said I should said something in the beginning well I'm a first timer u are supposed to inform me as the customer I don't mind spending money but as for anyone you are going to treat me with respect when I'm spending my hard earned coin... Animal Palace not only is a great groomer, they did some dog sitting for me and did a fabulous job. I do not leave my dogs alone with sitters because no one understands how particular I am about my babies. I have 3 high maintenance dogs and 1 special needs (blind 13 year old). Most pet sitters do not listen to you and just do what they want....... after all who is going to tell Animal Palace asked me what I wanted, knew what was important to me and made me feel comfortable that they cared. I find now a days people who are performing a paid service give you a lot of lip service when they are interviewing for the job but when it comes down to it they never do what they say they would do. I just came back from having taken my little Neo for a grooming, and I will definitely return there again! I don't know who was more nervous, me or my dog! LOL But they did everything possible to calm us down, and my little man smells sooo good now. Loved the owner and loved the groomer as well! Two major thumbs up! More...

Koal is a well behaved, cuddly, loveable boy but he hates being washed and groomed. I'm terrified of clipping his nails and brushing his teeth. Today was his first time with the groomers at Animal Palace and he has never looked better! Ariel obviously has a gentle and experienced touch. I gave total control over his styling to her and she delivered. I wanted to cry when I saw him. I couldn't handle the cuteness! Thanks for your help and care!

For anyone reading these reviews, here is how the full experience went:

I left a message asking for an appointment and was called back within the same day. The owner discussed the base price with me ahead of time and they even called back the next day to confirm someone had gotten back to me. We were greeted with smiles and welcomed as soon as we arrived. The groomer, Ariel, was very specific with me about what to expect (he had some matting on his ears) after grooming and had examples of different grooming lengths. She was specific when asking what sort of styling I was looking for with his face, body, and tail and explained which services they offered for an extra fee. Ariel is clearly very experience and was very gentle with him. And fast! I have used other groomers whp kept him for 4 or 5 hours. I was called a little over an hour after drop off and told he'd be ready in 15 to 20 minutes. When I picked him up he was in a fenced in area by the front window, not crammed into a tiny cage. He was the litter doggy in the window lol They were very professional and I felt extremely comfortable leaving him with them. I will definitely be using them regularly from now on. More...
