Sometimes life doesn't go the way we expected, it throws things at us that we never thought it would and we can be left feeling stuck or dissatisfied. These can be dramatic events or a build up of life's stresses... or perhaps we can't quite understand how we got here, we just know that something isn't quite as we would like it to be. This is where counselling can help. By exploring our thoughts, feelings and experiences we can start to make sense of them and uncover what it is that we want, what it is that we can change or come to terms with to allow us to move forwards.

How often does someone listen to you, uninterrupted, in a space that is safe and focused entirely on your needs?

As your counsellor my role is not to advise you or tell you how to live your life. Your decisions and choices aren't there for me to judge or impose my opinions on. I am simply there to listen and help you make sense of your own thoughts and feelings, with the view to working together to find solutions and a way to move forward that's right for you.

I have spent time working with multiple sclerosis patients and carers at a dedicated centre as well as working with a range of clients at a local medical centre. My experience includes;

BSc (Hons) Psychology
CPCAB Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills
CPCAB Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies
CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling
I am an Individual Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and adhere to their Ethical Framework (2016).


I offer a free initial consultation by phone which gives us a chance to discuss what you are looking to gain from counselling and address any questions you may have. I practise from comfortable, private rooms in Poole where free parking is available.
