I believe that every day is a learning day, and there is nothing like a silly question, meaning there is room for learning and improving. Being proactive to avoid incidents going forward, which will enable the client and employees to embrace change and better the safety culture.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I have always ensured that Covid risk assessments are kept up to date in line with government guidance.
Site Inspections
Ensuring that:
1. Client sites are compliant,
2. Operatives are following polices and procedures
3. Those on site are working to all risk assessments & method statements,
4. All required permits are in place,
5. CDM 2015regulations, working at heights, etc are enforced.
Investigations
Ensuring that:
1. Witness statements are taken,
2. Photographs of site are taken,
3. Report is drawn up and submitted to client.
Health & Safety Management Systems
Ensuring that the clients health and safety management systems are up to date.
1. ISO45001, 19001, 14001
Delivery of Inductions/Briefings/Toolbox talks
Ensuring that all operatives employed by the client have received Inductions/briefings/toolbox talks as required.
