Billy and Mark worked their socks off to get our installation completed in one day. Very tidy installation and very impressed with early results. Very happy so far.

Lads turned up on the day and worked their socks off. Finished later than I expected due to some issues. All in all 10/10

Purchased a battery storage system which was installed in about 4 hours. Very neat installation and the app on my phone is fantastic.

Received a very competitive quote from Zest which we accepted. Installation took place 2 weeks later and everything went to plan. Would recommend.

Had an installation done in January and no complaints so far. Everything went smoothly and lads tidied up after themselves. Look forward to reduced bills!

Very unserious company, I've been waiting for months for the correct panels to be installed but they keep putting it off.
I signed the contract on January 9, 2023, on January 12 the panels had already been assembled (fantastic!), and the same day the company called me in the afternoon and demanded the balance of the payment. I reply that I wish I had time to go home (I was working) to see the finished work.
When I get home it was already dark (6pm on 12 January) I take a look at the panels and they don't seem the right ones, I report the matter via email but the company reassures me that everything is correct and points out that in the contract they claim the immediate payment. Ok.... I paid.
The next day in the sunlight I see that the panels installed are of another brand and model (less performing and with less warranty) and that the power optimizers have not been installed as prescribed by the manufacturer.
Since then I have continued to write to the company to get their error corrected but they have always denied or postponed the interventions.
I tried through associations but I think I'll have to contact a lawyer.
KEEP AWAY.
I advise anyone who has installed a solar system to check the components (just read the adhesive plates on the back of the panels) and compare them with what you have in the quote!

Looking at Solar Panels and got a call from this company and they asked if my partner would be there and I said no as I can make decisions without his input as I am the main money maker and they refused to visit without partner there! ! The woman was really aggressive on the phone!! Would never use a company like this!! If I could rate -10 I would. Your loss More...

Hi Marni, we ask for an opportunity to present to both of you. It has nothing to do with decision makers or who makes the most money. We feel that there is more chance of customers coming back to us at some point in the future if we have an opportunity to impress both. I am sorry if you let down by this although the majority of companies have a similar policy.

The job seemed to have been carried out efficiently but i did not get all the information on the app explained to me.

Good information and very quick installation

Exactly the same experience as a number of reviewers pressure sales tactics - prices due to skyrocket by Friday. Asked for a technical and commercial quote - nothing ! ! He refused to provide a quote or even a business card said he only had one left - clearly I wasn't good enough to get his last one. No idea what the company's work is like but their sales tactics are truly off the charts and not in a good way.
Lightning response to my Bark request but unacceptable to not even provide a written quote for serious outlay of cash would be laughable if it weren't so serious. What recourse do you have if the system is not performing as expected or you don't get the system that was described - NONE - read the non existent specification. You would need have a screw loose to let these people anywhere near your home.

I contacted them for a quote which I initally accepted and paid my deposit. After I week I had changed my mind and asked for my deposit back. I receieved a call from the manager trying to talk me back into it. Pressuring me into providing an explanation which accroding to the contract I shouldn't have had to do. Once I confirmed my mind couldn't be changed, he couldn't get off the call quick enough. I e-mailed a couple of days later to confirm my cancellation and ask for an update on the refund and didn't recieve a response. It has now been nearly 2 weeks and I haven't heard from them despite calling and e-mailing. I wouldn't recommend them at all and when I do get the work done eventually, I won't be asking them to complete it. More...

Hi Sophie, you cancelled your order on 7 September and your deposit was returned to the same payment method.

Zest Energy responded very quickly to my enquiry, gave me a competitive price for a Solar Photovoltaic system with battery, and our system was installed just 2 weeks after the salesman/surveyor visited. This was in stark contrast to some other companies who either ignored me or gave lead times of several months.

A team of 4 carried out the installation, all clearly highly skilled. The installation went very smoothly: the installers assessed the best configuration for my panels around the several obstacles on my roof, recommended the best location for the inverter and battery (next to the main switch and fuse box), and came prepared with a Wi-Fi extender to enable the inverter to communicate through our stone-walled house. Finally one of them showed me how to use the app to monitor the system. It's been working very well - though we've only had it for a few days so far.

Zest do however need to review their “double-glazing” style pressure sales tactics, which made us wonder whether we had made a terrible mistake in the two weeks between ordering and installation. They also need to improve their communication: it’s normal these days to get an order confirmed by email, with specifications for the equipment attached, whereas the Zest salesman just left an old-fashioned pen-and-paper completed order form and no info on the equipment. I would also expect a text message a few days before the agreed installation date to confirm arrangements: there was none. This caused me concern whether the installation team would even arrive until they actually did so. For these reasons, I’m giving Zest just 4 stars instead of 5. More...

We wanted to research whether we could/should get solar panels and a battery for our house. The Zest Energy Salesman who came to visit us was an awful experience. He was looking to make a hard sell, and wouldn't leave us any technical information/handouts "because of Covid" and refused to give us a formal quote "because prices are changing this friday". He was insistent that my wife was also present, thinking that she would be a soft touch, but unfortunately for him he doesn't know my wife! He would have had an easier time if she wasn't there. We were being pressured to make a purchase of £11750 within 48 hours as "prices are going up by 64% this Friday". This they may be, but being shown a video of 'Mrs Wilson' saying that she's pleased with her solar panels isn't going to convince us to part with a big sum of money without due diligence, a formal qoute with technical details, or having done further market research.

Sales rep asked if I'm married, which I thought was strange, but then insisted that my wife be present for the home visit. When I insisted that she really didn't as it was only supposed to be a visit to provide a quote, he cancelled the appointment. The representative was prepared to spend as much time as required to satisfy all queries have discussions on proposals and offer alternatives/constructive ideas which we hammered into shape to achieve the optimum solution for integration with the already installed hybrid air pump for a good end result. Well done to Harley-don't often find this level of commitment to find the best for everyone not just the seller!!!!! More...

Fantastic job from start to finish. Installers turned up 8am and finished about 4pm. Neat and tidy and workmanship all excellent. Only issue they had was a malfunctioning solar immersion but a replacement was fitted the next morning. Would highly recommend. More...
