It was like being at a 5 star hotel, everything was perfect and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and the correct temperature and there was over 100 to feed! 5 stars!!! We had James and his team for our wedding on the 1st June 2019 and we couldn’t of been happier with the quality, taste and presentation of his food. Many of our guests came to us complementing on the taste of the food served during the wedding breakfast. We also had canopies after our ceremony which went down a treat with everyone, with many mentioning how good they all tasted. Julie on the front of house did an amazing job through Friday to Saturday helping set up and was more than welcome to help light any candles, cinema boxes and any other lights that needed to be turned on. James provided all the catering for our daughter’s wedding last Saturday. From the original discussions, all the way through to the end of the day itself, James provided a fantastic service. The food was excellent, the table service was top notch and all the staff involved were helpful and attentive. I delivered the wedding cake to the venue early in the day and it was comforting to see him preparing all the vegetables from scratch with no pre-packed food in evidence. James was very professional from the first meeting we had with him and he was extremely flexible with our catering and food presentation requests, not to mention good value for money. The team did brilliantly well on the day to deliver the food to our guests on a very hot July day in quite a crowded dining space. James and his team provided the catering for our wedding (18th July 2015). From start to finish they were brilliant. The food was delicious and all our guests, young and old, thoroughly enjoyed their chosen meal. Presentation was amazing, with a lot of thought put in especially with our dessert. James and all of his team at zest did an amazing job at our wedding on 31/12/2014- Aynhoe park. The food was exceptional, the service was above and beyond the call of duty at all times and he created a menu that was personalised to our taste. The bar staff and waiter /waitresses worked so hard all day and we are both extremely grateful for everything. Will definitely be using James for every family event in the future! James has been amazing with everything he has done for us ; a couple of buffet parties , a wonderful dinner party for our son when it was his 40 birthday and on Saturday 18 February he continued to impress guests at my 70 birthday party .
My husband and I had a busy week in the run up to the party as we had our grandchildren to stay for half term ; great fun but little time to prepare for 34 guests arriving Saturday ! But James was magical , he arrived at 4.30 on Saturday to prepare and everything just happened from there so I was free to enjoy time with family and friends as he served them deliciously chunky Beef Bourgingnon or fragrantly creamy Thai Chicken Curry followed by fantastic puddings . And his lovely waitress Elenor did a great job looking after guests with fizz and wine and stuff as well as clearing away dishes . Such a relief after an exciting week with kids and a party to walk into a clean and tidy kitchen at the end of it all feeling that everyone had been well looked after and had a great time . Thanks James for your wonderfully professional yet friendly approach , impressive culinary skills and great value for money .

Tony & Lesley Sluman- Our daughter Harriet's wedding to Jo Robinson (12th Sept.2015) was the most wonderful day. To start with James and his team provided a selection of mouth watering canapés while the champagne flowed.
Then he served up a meal for 164 guests in the marquee where we held the reception.!! The cards we received after the wedding were full of praise for the delicious food ".The Beef Wellington was perfect!" The desserts were "mouthwatering"

We just want to thank James and all at Zest catering for AMAZING food and service on our wedding day in August. James went above and beyond from the moment we contacted him and made the whole process super easy, especially as we had to organise our wedding from Australia! The food was perfect and exactly what we wanted and many of our guests said it was the best wedding food they had ever had! The evening food was gorgeous and I think I must have stood gorging on cheese for at least an hour! AMAZING! Our wedding day ran perfectly and it really was a big thanks to you and the Zest team. You were great to work with and really eased any anxiety we had with organising our day from so far away. The breakfast on the day after the wedding was awesome as well and much needed! He thought of everything and had such imagination with the food. ..the chocolate and strawberry lady birds went down very well with the kids! Wow ! Wow and Wow ! James catered for 115 people at our wedding on 22nd December, the canapés, three course dinner, bar drinks all were AMAZING !
! The feedback from our guests has been fabulous ... “the best food ever tasted at an event” ! James was helpful and enthusiastic from our initial enquiry right up to our day and even when clearing up, when he must have been exhausted. The staff he hired were attentive, polite and just lovely to have around. Thank you James for being part of our day and delivering the most amazing wedding breakfast ��� would
