Zekelはテニス技術向上にこだわりのあるプロ意識の高いコーチなので、ただ何か運動して汗を流したい、というだけではなく、早く上達することでより高いレベルでさらにテニスを楽しみたいという人にとてもお勧めのテニスクラブです。またLocalのテニスクラブでありながらZekelは日本語も話せるので、英語に多少苦手意識があってもLocalのコミュニティで日本人以外の友達も作りたいという方にもおススメです！

ロンドン赴任時から息子がZekel先生のレッスンを受けるようになり、とても丁寧にご指導頂いております。先生は日本語も堪能で、英語があまり話せなかった息子にとって、入所当初からクラスに入りやすく、毎週楽しく通っております。上達させたい先生のお気持ちで時には厳しくご指導頂けるのも、親としても大変もうれしく、個人個人に合わせた柔軟なご対応にいつも感謝しております。本人も日々上達しており、地元のテニス大会への出場にも意欲的です。いつも、心温かくご指導頂きありがとうございます。

他日系テニススクール経験後に息子がこちらでお世話になっています。サーブが苦手でしたが、コツをその都度教えてもらえているので、数ヶ月でだいぶ上達しました。場所もエレンスクールで駐車場もあり、ストレスフリーです。冬シーズンは、室内体育館に場所を移すので、お天気に左右される事がなくレッスンができてありがたいです。

Fantastic tennis coaching!!! Zekel is a very skilled and professional coach, his manner of coaching makes children to work hard and enjoy the tennis at the same time. His lessons are well organised, at the high standards with a lot of fun and laugh. He really has abilities to work with kids. Zekel is observing exactly what my son mistakes are, and reminding him what he has to practice on, and praising him on what he’s doing right. 息子たちがテニスを習い始め、１年が経ちました。小２，小３の二人は驚くほど上達しました。楽しいだけでなく、厳しい練習内容で時には悔し涙もあります。ゼッケル先生はイギリス人ですが、日本人の魂をもち、テニスと子供を愛する方だと思います。練習は厳しいこともありますが、日本人の子供として育てられた子供たちにあっていると思います。生徒の多くは日本人の子供たちです。そして厳しいからこそ上達も早いのだと思います。はじめ週１回のレッスンでしたが、１年くらいたった今、週２回にレッスンを増やしました。費用はけっして安くはありませんが、トーナメントに出るようになり、もっと練習しないと勝てないと本人たちと我々夫婦の気持ちです。最近弟も初勝利しました。負けることもありますが勝利で意欲や自信が増しました。それだけでなく大事なことも分かりました。技術が優れ、圧倒的に自分が強いと勝てる兄、腕力の強さに任せて相手のボールをさらに強く打ち返し、逆に自分のスピードを相手に利用され負ける弟。しかし、兄は強いかもとしり込みすると試合を投げてしまいます。結果は負けましたが弟は兄があっさり負けた相手をタイブレークにまで追い込み、初勝利もタイブレークでものにしました。テニスは技術だけでなく、１対１の真剣勝負、心と心の闘いであり、心の成長が期待されます。ゼッケル先生はそういうことにも理解を示し、心を育てようと努力してくれています。しつこいですが、レッスン料金は他のテニス教室よりも高いです。しかし、イギリスでは安いものにいいものはないと思います。ぜひ、テニスの上達、心の成長を願い、厳しい指導でも挑戦したい子供たちや親御さんは、ゼッケル先生に連絡してください！（大人のレッスンもありますが、うちはお金もないし、体力気力も親にはないので、子供たちしかレッスンしていません。子供のレッスンしかわかりません。）（ほかのみなさんも書かれていますが、ゼッケル先生は英語が苦手な場合は日本語で指導してくれます。ちなみに、親は見学もできますが、大方一度帰宅して家事をすることが多いです。）

子ども好きで親日家のとても熱心なコーチです。日本語を交えたレッスンで穏やかですが、指導はとても上手く、個々人に合わせて的確なアドバイスをしてくれます。レッスンの度に疑問点が改善され上達していくのが実感できるのでとてもお勧めです。

私は現地の方々と一緒に金曜にレッスンを受けています。あまり上手に英語を話せませんが、現地の方も分かりやすく話して下さるし、皆さんとってもフレンドリーで楽しくレッスンを受けています。Zekelコーチは私の苦手なところや悪い癖のついてしまってるところをその都度見つけてくれて、何度も何度も教えてくれます。そのおかげで、苦手なサーブやバックハンドがだいぶ上達したと思います。これからもZekelコーチの指導のもとさらに上達したいと思ってます。

Zekel is a truly professional tennis coach. He always gives me very clear tips to improve my skill. I have learned a lot of specific techniques and always enjoy playing tennis. The people playing with me are also nice and I am always looking forward to attending the lesson. My sons also join his lesson at Ellen. The atmosphere of his lesson is really serious but I can feel that Zekel always takes care of every child and tries to find the best way to get them to become a better player as well as a better person. Zekel approaches his lessons in a highly professional, highly organised, highly informed and enthusiastic manner. He varies the lesson to make it both interesting, enjoyable and excitable. He focuses not only on technique but match strategies and the psychology of the sport too - thus giving the player a massive advantage by considering holistic game of tennis. He ensures that the player is fully engaged and his lesson always have a total sense of achievement and natural progression which the player can establish by both self and peer assessment. He stretches his student to a comfortable and controllable level without stressing the player. He applies the lesson objectives whilst at the same time considering the player's strengths and limitations whilst incorporating the player's immediate and long term expectations.. He uses meaningful praise appropriately and constantly encourages and motivates. His communication skills are excellent and he - both verbally and by demonstration - explains unambiguously want he requires whilst considering the physical constraints of the student. He uses additional resources such as and Tennis Aids and video analysis to illustrate his aims further. He has a wonderful sense of humour that readily relaxes the player but yet does not deter from the seriousness of the lesson objectives. He supports the player outside the confines of the lesson at no extra cost..I strongly recommend Zekel for all ages and all abilities. If you want a coach you can do no better than Zekel. More...
