Electric garage door broken…called Sid at Nottingham Garage Doors, and he arranged for repairers to visit the next day. They examined the door, ordered the parts and it was repaired quickly, just a few days later. Repairers did a good job, and at all times we’re polite and professional. Excellent service. Also goes by the name Nottingham Garage Doors, but has had problems with out-of-towners using the same name. Highly recommend these guys. Came to quote immediately, represented fair price. No hard sell. Recognised what was needed. Andy was brilliant. Every other garage door supplier and repairer just wanted to sell me a new garage door and said it couldn't be repaired. Not Andy. He tried to find the parts 2nd hand but with none available, ordered new parts. Kept me informed and showed up on time and fixed the door. Saved me £550 on the cost of a new door which was handy just before Christmas. Really nice bloke and knows his stuff. If you have a faulty garage door, i can't recommend Andy and this company enough. A spring broke on my Garage Door, tried 2 companies before I contacted Your Garage Doors, the first company said they couldn't get these springs anymore but left me a quote for a replacement door £3900. The next, original suppliers from Derby said they would get me a spring made for me, never heard from them again. Finally tried Your Garage Doors, they came, assessed, took the broken spring away, got a new one made and fitted it. Now works perfectly, great service, good price. After a minor incident involving my Ford Ranger and my Garage door, we were in desperate need of a new door, rang them on the 18th December, and the new door was installed on the morning of the 24th December. Professional service, the installers were great guys and cracked on and got the job done, with two cups of tea and minimal fuss! Arranged for a sales visit at our home in Nottingham with Sid (sales lead) for Friday 7th December for mid afternoon - I took the afternoon off work so that we could accommodate Sid’s ‘very busy’ diaryAt 14-15 on Friday 7th December I received a call from Sid saying he would have to cancel today’s visit as he had to attend ‘an emergency’ in Derbyshire Not pleased and not impressed - totally unprofessional!!

Sid provided a very competitive quote for a top spec' Hormann insulated door with electric opener, 3 remotes and fitting. The installers (Shawn and Deano) did an excellent job, and were very friendly and polite . Everything was left tidy and clean and they went over and above to ensure the job was perfect. The new door is excellent, sealed on all edges and the garage is draft free and weather proof. The old door and mechanism were all taken away along with all of the packaging. Sid just repaired an electric roller shutter door for me this afternoon. It had been damaged due to a break in, and was no longer in working order. He was able to make innovative repairs immediately, without lengthy delays waiting for replacement parts.
