What kind of accounting services do you provide?
Reconciliation of customer, bank and petty cash accounts, ensure items are processed correctly using sound double entry accounting knowledge. Sales ledger, raise sales invoices and posting to the sales ledger, arranging prompt payment and managing cash flow, through accurate Profit and loss reporting. Purchase ledger – scanning processing, automating process with suppliers recording and posting purchase Invoices and resolving queries with suppliers. Monitor and analyze costs and identify and suggest areas to reduce costs through accurate Profit and loss reporting. Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensure all items are reclaimed and relevant paperwork and receipts are up to date to improve cash flow. Preparing financial monthly statements, P&L and Balance Sheet as well as our in-house Excel bank sheets.

What inspired you to start your own business?
I have had 2 great Jobs over the last 5 years as a Xero qualified Bookkeeper and as an employee in NHS administration. Finding myself being made redundant, I saw an opportunity to start my own business. I want to use my financial skills and experience of managing different clients with Xero and my knowledge of various Microsoft packages to provide a reliable service and continue my professional development to help clients succeed.

I am knowledgeable, honest and reliable, I have worked in finance with many Blue-chip companies over 10 years, and as a bookkeeper for the last 5. I have a penchant for problem solving in a mature calm way, a cheery disposition and an organized manner.

I can provide my service online or remotely, I have a secure home office, multiple screens, and scanning equipment to convert and process paper documentation into electronic pdf format and software to convert and split multiple documents for processing as required.
