Needed some wood on Sunday morning - of course, nowhere was open - Mike from Woodwalkers got in touch with me following a Facebook “looking for recommendations” post and told me to pop round a pick up some logs. The guys came in to initially strip back a front garden/drive which had become seriously overgrown. After this the guys prepared the garden for placement of slate chippings, levelled the ground, removed a number of old tree stumps, built a couple of raised flowerbeds, completed some planting and laid around ten tons of slate chippings all in just over a week. The guys worked extremely hard in all weather and kept to the agreed deadline and budget. The finished result is superb and I would highly recommend them. Thanks lads!! More...

Had Mike in to cut back and re-shape a large tree in our garden - excellent service. Called them back recently to completely cut down a very large ash tree that was cutting off the light to a large chunk of our garden. Mike and his team felled two trees in my garden. Mike quoted and completed the job in less than a week and even did some extra work for me. They were excellent and very reasonably priced too. I would definitely recommend them. More...

He originally did a good job of cutting back a rampant laurel and cleared loads of leaves and frankly undercut himself pricewise by pressure washing paving/patio slabs. He was very well looked after with tea and biscuits and I paid him over the quote.

However, seemingly a good man, me and the neighbour were quoted and paid him 450.00 to cut back and dispose of light blocking overhanging branches from 3 trees backing our properties. All went well until the boundary fence was damaged by his team and it was agreed that Mike @ Woodwalkers would return and put this right within 2 weeks. 5 months later (10.03.18) the fence is still unsecured and wobbling in the wind ready to come down yet, despite many emails, phone calls, text messages from me and the neighbour there has been limited response and now silence.

We will now after all these months have to find another fencer and they can also have the contract to replace all my other fencing that I talked about with Mike@#woodwalkers.
