Woodpecker have just completed the removal of my huge 90’ and around 120 year old beech tree due to it’s being diseased. I live in a conservation area and all work has to be sanctioned by the Council, Woodpecker services looked after everything from the outset.The work was not easy, access/egress was poor, meaning all work had to be done by hand.Woodpecker set about this task unflinchingly and extremely professionally with safety and respect for my garden and property their highest priority.Their team of three men completed the job in two days, I am highly satisfied with their standard of work and their client interface. What do you love most about your job?
I still cant believe I get to climb trees for a living. What started as a love of climbing has evolved into an obsession with the industry surrounding trees and their care. I'm proud of my industry and the level of professionalism that can be found within it. I constantly strive to maintain a high level of knowledge, service and efficiency, we do this through skills training and good links with arboricultural collages for continued professional development for our team.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have worked for the majority of companies in my area and have always lead teams from the front pushing myself to be the best i can but found others lacking the same drive. I wanted my own team made up of guys as passionate about what we do as I am, as Woodpecker Trees I have found a team to be proud of and intend to continue to grow and improve the face of the industry as i do.
