From the moment we approached Wil to photograph our wedding, he was a considerate and supportive presence. We were able to specify exactly what shots we wanted - even down to the location and time - and Wil tailored his service to meet our needs.

Before the wedding (even in the days before), we were able to keep in contact with Wil and update the itinerary we had agreed on. His work on the day (and the pictures he delivered afterwards) were better than we had ever hoped for. From ‘formal’ family photographs to the informal, fun photographs he suggested, the experience was relaxed and totally centred around us and our needs.

As a bride, I hadn't realised just how much time I would spend with our photographer on the wedding day. Though it might have been strange to have someone in the house as we got ready and set off for the church, Wil was such a positive and relaxed presence that we never felt on edge, or on display. Far from being obtrusive, Will was able to read the day perfectly, and capture small moments with beautiful detail - he even got some great pictures of the dog!

Aside from his great presence on the day, the photographs are amazing and were returned with incredible speed.

Wil did our Christmas family photos at the weekend and they look amazing... � We are so so pleased with them....
Not only did he capture photos he also caught memories as he kept taking photos of our eldest grandson running around with grandad after the shoot was finished. . He pays great attention to detail and was great with the children, two of which were newborns....
The shoot was fun and Wil is easy to get along with.... Nothing was too much trouble.... He made us feel very relaxed... The scenery for the photos was fab and we would defiantly use him again...

We've never had a photo shoot before as a family, and with two young children, I really wasn't sure how it was going to go. We felt excited and welcomed as soon as we arrived and, leading up to the event Wil had told us several times how excited he was to photograph us, which made us feel special!! During the shoot, Wil was so patient. He knew exactly what poses would be good, as well as the exact locations of where he wanted to shoot. He also had plenty of time for our own suggestions, and welcomed them! Somehow, he managed to coax out our best smiles, and was there to capture the gorgeous, hilarious, one-off moments with our children. His shoot felt like intimate, fun family time, with a camera quietly watching. It felt natural. It was fun. Wil was friendly, professional and flexible. Our children loved him, and thought he was great. My son even told us afterwards that "Wil is my favourite man in my whole life!" You can't beat that kind of praise! I genuinely couldn't recommend Wil Barber Photography enough. His photos are beautiful. We are thrilled with them, and with the fleeting moments that he's captured for us to keep forever- we felt beautiful, in love with each other, and in love with the world around us. We booked Wil for our Christmas wedding (Dec 17) about a year before the big day. We were a little apprehensive as we hadn’t met Wil - just spoken on the phone and sent emails (all of which Wil answered quickly and professionally).

On the day Wil came to my house to start taking pictures of everyone getting ready. Wil was laid back, friendly and just felt like one of the family. Throughout the day, we barely noticed Wil taking photos - and lots of people commented on how discreet he was. We had a few outside shots with groups - it was freezing but Wil called out what we wanted and done it very quickly. We hadn’t asked for many specific shots (just a few group/family ones) but Wil took us off making the most of the gardens and the woodlands. Wil made us feel comfortable and at ease, he wasn’t demanding at all. He was excited about the photos he has taken throughout the day and showed us a few sneak peeks!

We got the photos back within a couple of weeks (baring in mind we had Christmas and New Years in between - we were so happy with how quickly they came back) and they were on a beautiful engraved USB stick. Both my husband and I had laughed with Wil when telling him that we weren’t very photogenic and a bit awkward behind the camera but the end results were just amazing. Wil has managed to perfectly capture every moment including all of the details at the venue. I cried when I saw the photos (almost 500 of them) - the colours, the sun in the background - all stunning.
