What a wonderful service we received from Andy and Betty on our wedding day! Andy transported the bridesmaids to the venue then returned for myself, brother, mum and daughter. He immediately put a very nervous bride at ease and the attention to detail did not go un noticed, from the ribbons to the flowers everything was perfect. He even stayed outside throughout our ceremony so that we could have some photos together with Betty. Andy was an absolute delight and receiving some photographs from him the day after the wedding was an added bonus whilst we wait for our professional ones. Thank you so much to Andy and his white taxi. We used him for our wedding day in December to take my bridesmaids and then myself/father to the venue. He was friendly, polite and punctual. He was flexible in discussing our plans and was happy to do 2 trips. The taxi was clean and comfortable. He was more than happy to stay around after the ceremony to take photos and provided us with a few lovely photos to add to our collection. We used White Taxi Weddings for our wedding in September and the service was flawless from start to finish. Andy was brilliant and Betty was decorated beautifully with ribbons specially ordered in our choice of colour and font. After the ceremony Andy took us to nearby Shipley Park and left us alone for a short while which was very much appreciated as it was the only time we had alone all day! A massive thank you to Andy and Betty for helping to make our wedding day perfect. From the initial contact right through to the day after the wedding he has been incredibly professional. He goes above any beyond his duties by pre-testing the car journey, checking to make sure there are no major events that might cause us delays on the day and even colour matching the ribbon on Betty to fit in with the wedding. We wanted something different for our wedding, something which was full of character and made everyone smile, and Betty delivered! You did a great job making her look smart, she was shiny and clean and the flowers complimented our colour scheme really well. The ribbons were a lovely touch, and really made Betty look special so thank you for those too. (you scrub up well too Andy!). You were so thoughtful, contacting us before the wedding to let us know you had completed a dummy run, and also having cool water for us on a very hot day! We are very grateful you organised a quiet few minutes for us between the church and reception, as it gave us some much needed time to ourselves before we dove back into the limelight!

From the moment you brought Betty round to us to look at, to the moment we received our ribbon through the post, we were at ease. We knew we could rely on a friendly, professional and kind couple to help our day run smoothly after the bumps we had along the way. Wow, Betty was the perfect addition to our wedding! Not only is this taxi stunningly beautiful, its owner and driver Andrew is a lovely gentleman, smart, professional, calm and polite. He was so quick to respond to my messages when enquiring and making arrangements and there was no fuss in bringing Betty over so we could see her.

Once we'd booked our transport with White Taxi Weddings, Andrew made everything so stress free. He did a test run of the route to ensure he left plenty of time to get me there on the day. Also, on the day he arrived early and politely put a congratulations card through my front door and waited outside patiently for me to come out. Such a lovely man, Andrew was really complimentary towards myself and my bridesmaids and waited around for ages after our ceremony so that we could get photos in this beautiful car!

Very professional service. Betty is brilliant if you want something different and very spacious. We had a card pushed through the door when Andy arrived outside which I thought was lovely. He also offered us a bottle of water each when we left from the church to the venue because the heat that day was soo hot and we both thought that was very kind and it was well needed! From the moment I spoke to Andy when booking, he couldn't have done more to help, even practising the whole route before hand so he knew the timings exactly. He was early, and Betty looked fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble, and Andy even took some great photos for us as well. Andy stayed after the ceremony so me and my new husband � could have some pictures with Betty, but didn't rush us and was happy to wait until we had had a chance to have a few sips of bubbles and say a few hellos. White Taxi Weddings has been an absolute joy to have on our wedding day. Betty was absolutely stunning, and Andy had even sent us a sample of the colour of the ribbon through the post before the day to make sure we were happy which was a really lovely thought. I must say that practically, having a train on my dress, it was very easy to get in and out of Betty with it! But everything about the car was wonderful, from the interior to the ribbon to the flowers.

Andy was absolutely lovely right from the first moment my Dad and I got into the taxi, and even took some photos for us. He definitely kept us calm on the drive down! We also used the partner company for the London Bus and an extra black taxi for the bridesmaids who were also very good, and Andy pushed the boat out in every way, even delaying us getting there so the bridesmaids were there to help us out at the church.

I don't think you could find a more committed, responsible, or friendly service. Andy drove us a longer route to our reception venue so we could have some time together and wouldn't arrive too early, he gave me and my husband a bottle of water on getting into the taxi after the dry mouth moment of saying our vows, and offered to take pictures for us around the embankment. He always responds quickly to any questions you have, and his price is extremely reasonable for all the extra touches that he puts into his work. He really has a great pride in his job that shines through, and he really added an extra cheer and smile onto our day. I really couldn't recommend Andy and Betty highly enough! More...

Not only does Betty look fantastic she is comfortable and roomy and due to being an ex London cab very easy to get in and out of whilst wearing a wedding dress!

Andy was a breeze to liaise with and was happy to answer any questions- he completely took the stress out of arriving on time plus took some fabulous photographs for us that we treasure :)

"As Mother of the Bride I was asked to organise transport to and from the church for my daughter, bridesmaids and groom.
When I first contacted Andy Poole he suggested that he brought ‘Betty’, the white wedding taxi for me to inspect. Andy was courteous and helpful from the start. He listened to all that I asked for and was very accommodating.
He was in contact before the wedding to make sure that he knew the timings and the route and on the day of the wedding Andy was punctual and helpful.
My daughter forgot her bouquet and Andy quickly took the chief bridesmaid back to collect it with out any questions.
