Workmen failed to turn up on the arranged day saying there had been a mix up with the dates, so arranged to come the following day at 09. 00. Turned up late at 10.30 then decided that they didn't have the correct gear......they said that they needed a cherry picker to access the higher branches. When I asked why they didn't have the correct gear, they just shrugged and said "nobody told us anything about the job" !! Then they tried to arrange a later date the following week, but by this time I'd had enough of their lack of professionalism and told them to clear off!! More...

Westwood has helped us with a number of trees over the last few years and we thoroughly recommend them. They always make time to fit us in quickly and are super reliable and efficient. Their advice is well explained so we understand our options and we're always happy with the results, including the clean up - after a job today it looks like they were never here, it's cleaner on the driveway than when they started and the tree looks great. At quite short notice on my part, Westwood Tree Surgery carried out the trimming back of a large laurel hedge at the front of my property and the roadside cutting of overgrown bushes and the clearance of accumulated debris. Their operatives arrived on time and did an excellent, safe and professional job at a very fair price, as they have done for several years now and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Westwood to anyone. We had Westwood come and remove lots of stumps in our front and back garden.
The service was brilliant, he just got on with the job and got it done.
They also left the place clean and tidy afterwards. We found the price very reasonable for the job that needed doing.

Wow just wow. Over the years I’ve used a couple of other tree people in other properties but these are leaps and bounds above all others. Gave a price ( not the lowest) but I felt confident they knew what they were doing. And I was right prompt accurate and so clean and tidy. After the tree works we’re done I was going to find another company to replace some fencing. But when I mentioned this they also did this to an equally high standard. We enjoy ensuring the customer is happy with our service. We love bringing shape back to gardens that have been hidden in thick hedges or dead over hanging trees.

What inspired you to start your own business?
I started my business because i am passionate about the outdoors, i enjoy being in the country and seeing different places. Preserving trees where possible is the goal & ensuring each job is done with care and attention to detail.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We run a covid-19 strict policy, aswell as having a handsfree system. This means we quote online or in within restriction distances if in person, and provide a clean up service for after the job is done. We also ensure we do not touch anything that is not part of our service. Then we also take payments on the day via bank transfer so no need for any contact.
Our staff have masks and gloves at the ready incase they are needed.
