Hello! My name is Lynda and I am a documentary wedding photographer based in the South East of England. I grew up in Orkney and have worked my way down the UK via Edinburgh, London, Bristol and am now based on the south coast in Hastings (which feels very much like home with the constant wind and always being a stone's throw away from the Sea).

There are two really important bits to wedding photography - you have to like the photos, obviously, and I think you have to like the photographer. They're going to be right there with you at some of the most intimate and special moments of your life alongside all your family and best friends. You want to feel relaxed and happy that the photographer is lurking close by. Lynda's photos speak for themselves. They captured all the things we loved about our day and made those moments more magic, more vivid. But equally important - it was fantastic having Lynda as a part of our day. She's just a lovely, warm person who is very quick to smile and will make you relax and laugh. She's very attuned to people's moods and is quick to adapt if it's needed. What do you love most about your job?
I love meeting new people, every job/day is different, I get to travel and I get to learn about so many subjects.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was inspired by the freedom it offered, although its hard work I love the fact that every day is different and I am constantly getting to meet people I would not have come across if it was not for this job!
