Frustration. After moving to London in 2000, I spent many years working in digital agencies that serviced particular sectors—E-learning, advertising, and pharma, to name a few. Although the work was interesting, I wanted to build various digital products. I decided the only way to do this was to start on my own and talk to many different people. I now have B2B, Enterprise clients across multiple industries.

I work from my office in Kent but regularly travel into London and around the South-East for meetings, workshops and conferences. I work remotely with development teams around the world on a daily basis and have all the tools and capabilities to manage remote working and juggle a healthy work/life balance.

Being great at remote working! This didn't change much for me over lockdown, and I am glad to see that so many of us can work remotely now. We will look back at the 'mass commute' age as quite archaic and inefficient. Managing teams remotely has also made me much more confident and proactive.
