Stayed here for two weeks end of July beginning of August. Beautiful place, breathtaking scenery. lodge was in a lovely position very secluded and private. Great staff very friendly and great food . A little slice of heaven in North Devon. After slowly meandering along the coast road from Coombe Martin to WaterMouth Bay we finally turned onto the majestic driveway of Watermouth Lodges. A grand start to any holiday passing the Castle to pull into the Car Park!! Then wandering onto the decked terrace we were met with the expansive view out to sea Down through the trees boats bobbing in the harbour of Water Mouth Bay in the distance. With a plethora of beautiful rattan furniture to sit on & just soak up the views. The front of house staff are incredible Helen Leudo Warwick & the rest of the team could not have done more to make the start of our stay any more relaxed!! The Lodge we had catered for all our needs a shower bath comfy beds bedding towels A great equipped kitchen Lounge area Even a picnic table for impromptu meals on the grassed terrace area outside!! So to our 2nd full day, again back to the incredible terrace. Views to die for & indoor & outdoor pool & sauna. Amazing drinks & cocktails not to mention the food !! Which is fresh incredibly well priced & always served with a smile A whole Dover Sole Prawn butter King Prawn delicious fresh salad & New Potatoes for £11.95 washed down with a decent cold bottle of Sauvignon Blanc for £14.50 Outstanding The days just float on into the evening Everybody happy Kids swimming & playing Parents relaxed sunbathing & enjoying themselves We never wanted to leave But if you do there is WaterMouth Bay Just down the drive with a fabulous cafe nestled on the harbour inside a fishing boat. The stunning Coombe Martin with great beach bars & restaurants just down the road. The best thing about this place is how the whole team all work together to make sure you are looked after from the gardeners to repair/decoration team - Dave & Simon et all We can’t wait to visit again 10/10 More...

came to test out the facilities last night and had a fantastic evening. cooled down in the outdoor pool, went and had some great fun indoors too. kids were starving so stayed for dinner and what quality food at bargin prices with unlimited squash for the kids. very pleasant helpful staff will most def be coming back on a regular basis More...

Myself, wife and 2 young children were let down by a local site. We Called watermouth lodges and they arranged a fantastic lodge with a hot tub. Amazing value for money. Our 2nd year at watermouth lodges. We decided on a Hollie lodge this year. Absolutely fab. Huge! Never going back to a caravan again. Took our Lab, loads of space. We have 2 ASD children, both accommodated for in the restaurant, whatever their needs. Great indoor pool, play area, my son cried when we left this morning :-( will book for a 3rd year next year! We were here 2 week ago and really loved it, so much so we have booked for next year, as did other families that were there at the same time. They have a lovely caring family attitude and are always happy to help which is a breath of fresh air! we felt it was a little piece of heaven and everything you needed was around you! from a 5 min drive to tesco to a 2 min walk to a quaint little harbour and coastal walks that went from comb martin to woolacombe or even further? we ran out of time to do the full walks. Ilfracombe was only 10mins drive left down the road and woolacombe and exmouth zoo approx 10 mile away? it really is a perfect spot to enjoy a beautiful part of England. Didn't stay at the lodges but nearby, so this review is for the restaurant, shop and play areas only. We came here for dinner twice this past week and both times the service and food were excellent. Good amount of choice for adults and children, good portions and freshly cooked with fresh produce. Cost us £28 the first night for our main meal and drinks (2 adults, 2 children) and £33 the second time, which we felt was very reasonable both times. The play areas (inside and out) were well equipped and safe, and everywhere was clean. The shop is small but well stocked with camping/self catering essentials and again very reasonably priced. There is a pool too; we didn't use it but it looked clean. Pool tables and table tennis were also equipped and well kept. Highly recommend. More...

We booked about 8 lodges for our wedding having been let down by a nearby hotel. I can't state on here how accommodating the manageress was in booking us all in over Easter weekend. We stayed in Seaview lodge which was perfect for a wedding party to get ready in. Lovely hot tub! Most of us ate in the restaurant and the food was lovely.
