Warwick Hewson

About

Warwick studied piano with Amanda Hurton and subsequently Hilary Coates at Trinity College of Music.

Warwick is a committed and dedicated piano teacher, with a wealth of experience teaching pupils of all levels and ages. He offers a highly personal approach and dynamic, inspiring lessons to help cultivate a life long love of music.

Pupils have had consistent success in the ABRSM exams from Grade one to Diploma and confidence is built at all stages to encourage performance.

He has a love of chamber music and has performed piano and clarinet trio repertoire extensively with the Aubert Trio. He taught piano at Taunton School and maintains a private teaching practice in London and Kent. Warwick performs piano duo repertoire regularly with Adfinitas Duo.
Outside of music, his working life is varied, managing Chez Cartier, his cookery school and events venue in South West France. Warwick recently produced an outdoor production of Mozart’s Cosi Fan Tutte in the grounds.

Warwick is a dedicated Yogi also and teaches group and private classes.
