Took my dog I had started looking after for friends. 13 months old who had never been groomed before and is poodle poodle cross What a wonderful result She had play time with groomers dogs too She went a gorgeous fluffy teddy bear but coat needed lots of TLC and is now a classy poodle lady Just need to convince my sons its still her !

After taking our boy to another groomers, we've always had trouble with his really long nails and also his confidence with new people we thought we'd try wanderfield groomers after a lovely chat with her on the phone she made us instantly feel at ease. Freddie is a very nervous boy and doing new things is quite a big task for him. His nails had grown quite a lot and previous groomers had refused to cut his nails to where they should be because of his nervous nature. First entering Wanderfeld Groomers garden made Freddie feel well relaxed and safe, then entering the salon which was prepared with lavender. Elaine was very calm and didn't approach Freddie as she knew he was nervous with meeting new people. Once he was on the table Elaine allowed Freddie to sniff around her and get used to her being there. Then it was down to the big task... Cutting his nails. Elaine was very thorough and careful, taking off big chunks of nails and then going in with the grinding wheel to smooth it out. Elaine also allowed time for Freddie to calm down when he was getting a bit agitated. The results are night and day, he's so much happier and is rubbing around like his old self. Penny was kind enough to fit my 3 cockapoos in at last minute. They had never been to her before and to be fair I was concerned if she was going to be any good or not, as every other groomer I rang was fully booked up until late January, February time next year. I panicked for nothing, she did a tremendous job. She had them all day, giving them a one to one pampering session. They even smelt gorgeous better than the normal baby powder smell. It did cost me more money than I normally pay but it was well worth it, my dogs didn’t fret and looked absolutely beautiful. I will definitely use her again. More...

Penny is a very lovely lady, who at very short notice pampered and groomed my mum’s 3 Cockapoo’s. Penny talked to the dogs, made them feel at ease and gave them the one to one pamper session they deserved. I felt very comfortable dropping them off as I knew they would be with Penny all day. When I went to collect them, they was very happy and didn’t fret at all. It was so lovely to see the dogs so happy! Their cuts look amazing and they smell beautiful too! My terrier mix was overdue for a groom. He's a bit insecure and wary of trusting groomers. I've been to a lot of groomers and I can easily say Wanderfeld is the best. She took her time with him and didn't rush him. He came out with the best groom he's ever had. He has quite a few cowlicks and his trim has never been so even. His coarse hair was made so soft. Took our Bichon Frise Cross, Dolly, for a pamper and groom to the lovely Elaine, who I cannot speak more highly of. Elaine was able to make Dolly feel calm and at ease from the moment she entered into the room. She transformed our scruffy little pooch into an adorable, fluffy little Teddy bear, finished off with a pretty bow wrapped around her. Will certainly be heading back to Elaine again, who clearly loves dogs so much, which is obvious just from the short time she is able to gain the trust of each dog she works with. Fabulous results! Penny was absolutely wonderful with our 10 month old golden retriever and we couldn’t recommend her enough! Our dog has previously hated going to the groomers and although she was nervous when we got there, Penny was great with her and made her feel at ease. Brilliant groomer! We have a cavapoo and a Yorkshire terrier, the latter being extremely nervous, which really had us worried when we suddenly had to change groomers. Elaine was brilliant with both of them, taking time before their first groom to meet them and make sure they were comfortable before I left them. She gave the exact cuts I requested (always a worry when you go somewhere new), and suggested improved cuts for next time (which I will definitely go ahead with!).
