Waltham Rambles

We have used waltham rambles three times so far for pop in visits, day stay and over night stay and I can say they are excellent! We have a saint Bernard and its not always easy to find someone willing to look after such a large breed however Waltham rambles have been amazing, Bruce loves going to stay and he's treated as if he's part of their family. I would highly recommend any dog owner who doesn't want to leave their dog in kennels to give Waltham rambles a try you wont be disappointed! More...

This was the first time we had left our dog to go on a holiday and I have to say that the care and love that she received was amazing. Just 36 hours before we were due to fly to Rome mother nature decided to throw us a curve ball and bring our little girl into her first real season! Lynn and her family were marvellous - they refused to let us down and made Penny's stay as comfortable and happy as possible. She still got out on walks and had lots of hugs, just like she was at home. I will only leave our beautiful little pup with Lynn whenever we go away as it was like a home from home experience for her. The photos on Facebook are a real bonus, and you find yourself checking for them when you return to your hotel at night! Would recommend to anyone! More...

Wonderful place run by wonderful people who very obviously love dogs and treat their guests as their own. My 8 year old greyhound Sox got herself settled on the sofa almost immediately and came home chilled and relaxed after her little holidays. I wouldn't even consider leaving my girl with anyone else after seeing how well Lynn and Roger looked after her. More...

Always been a dog lover and always felt uncomfortable leaving them at kennels, finding the gem that is Waltham Rambles almost on my doorstep was like a lottery win. Such a nice environment to leave your pet in, my puppy has developed in ways time in a traditional kennel never would have encouraged, toilet training, social skills and above all her nerves improved after her second holiday here, she's a regular and loves it, while I'm travelling I know she's not sat in a cage, it's a home from home but with all of her mates there, like a canine all inclusive social club....highly recommended. Well what can I say. What an absolute brilliant place Waltham Rambles is! And we couldn't have asked for better people other than Lynn and Roger to care for Winston. Had never left him with anyone before, other than our son, and he has never been boarded before, so we were quite unsure who or what to look for when we had a funeral to attend in Cornwall with no possibility of taking Winston with us. Having found Waltham Rambles on Facebook and reading the reviews and looking through all the gorgeous pics, it was quite obvious that here was a place that really loved and cared for all the dogs they took in. It was quite short notice but Lynn very kindly gave Winston trial day and then took him in for two days. If Winston could talk, I know he would say he loved his stay. Just by seeing photos of him during his stay, we knew he was happy and settled - a real home from home. And apart from knowing Winston was happy, we had complete peace of mind whilst we were away that he was safe, sound and happy in his temporary home. Betsy first started going to Waltham Rambles at just 13 weeks old. This is a perfect solution as I know she is cared for whilst I am at work. Since coming she has grown in confidence so much (now 7 and a half months). It's great that Betsy gets to socialise with lots of other dogs as well as going for lovely walks. Betsy is always so excited to go in and always comes home a happy pup. I love love love the pictures that Lynn puts on Facebook during the day- it certainly brightens up my dinner times and is so nice to see what she's been getting up to during the day. Feel so relaxed dropping our beloved pooch off in the professional care of Lyn and Roger. I absolutely love how you can see your dogs out and about rambles that Lyn shares on Facebook. Chester is a needy, nervous dog yet he is totally relaxed when we leave him in Lyn and Rogers care. It's a home from home environment for the dogs.No cold imprisonment environment here , just the warmth and comfort of the large sofas available inside their home. I have just returned from a week's holiday made all the more relaxing knowing Freddy was being well looked after and enjoying himself with the other ramblers. I had peace of mind checking the regular Facebook updates and seeing Freddy playing with the other dogs.
Freddy also has daily walks throughout the year too with Lyn and Roger, and they have really helped Freddy develop into a well behaved obedient, loveable Labrador. I can highly recommend Waltham Rambles for both home boarding, day care and group walks. Freddy loves Lyn and Roger and can't wait to get in the van, and they love Freddy! More...

Gary our very active springer has just spent 9 nights here he’s had shorter stays in the past so We knew he would be well looked after while we were on holiday.

I have a lunatic beagle with separation issues and was really worried when our routine changed. I am so happy we have these guys to walk her regularly, she has settled into the new routine great and she is never restless when I get back to her, so I know she gets the sufficient exercise she needs and she enjoys it. I never worry either as I know Lynn and Rodger know exactly what her needs are and I am confident they know how to handle her, which is a massive relief whilst I'm at work not worrying if she is bored or escaping !! Just got back from a break away and my dog Hicks went to stay for 4 nights and while he had only been there for 2 previous daily visits I was alittle worried about him settling in. ... well no need to worry at all, he was in great hands and settled in no problem at all, I loved the fact that Lynn kept me updated with how he was doing, and the pictures on Facebook really put me at ease and Hicks seemed to love it... He wasn’t in a mood with us when we got back for leaving him haha I will defo be using Waltham rambles again on a regular basis!! You can tell they love dogs and treat them as if they are their own! I have a 13 week old puppy, Hugo who attends Rambles, so far Hugo has stopped overnight and been for one day but he’ll certainly be going more. Hugo is not fussed when I leave him as he has all the other lovely doggies to play with:) then when he’s tired he gets lots of lovely cuddles from Lynn and Rodger. Rocco my cokerpoo has been coming here since he was 4 months old for day care and has stayed over a few times for long weekends. Lynn and Rodger are excellent with him and he always runs through the gate without looking back when I drop him off . I totally feel as ease whenever he is there and know he is having a great time with all his doggy friends. I love seeing the updates they post of them all during the day . This has also made Rocco brilliant with other dogs the social side of it is so good for them. I would recommend Waltham Rambles to anyone. More...

Honestly we cannot fault Lynn, Roger and Ellen at all... our springer spaniel first met them on his taster day and ahead of us going on holiday for a week, he went for daycare too. Being first time puppy parents, we were nervous about leaving him, but our minds were immediately put at rest. We’ve learnt so much from them and it’s so clear how much they care. When we returned from our holiday, bailey was calm and settled and clearly enjoyed his doggy holiday. We feel completely safe in the knowledge that our Bailey is safe and happy. We would happily recommend Waltham Rambles. We feel lucky to have met such lovely people and that we have found such a special place for Bailey. Lynn and Rodger are amazing people to provide love and care to my puppy Rosie who they met at 10 weeks old, she is now approaching 7 months old. From that moment i knew Rosie would be looked after well its home from home. Rosie loves going great to see her happy and carn t wait to get through their gate., when my husband and I work knowing she can go for daycare have her walks and socialise with all the dogs .

I love taking Matilda to Waltham Rambles, I feel very confident that she is well looked after and cared for. She is also learning essential socialising skills with a wide variety of different breeds of dogs of all sizes.

Matilda first started going at 16 weeks and I'm looking forward to seeing her on walks with the other dogs. It's also great to see the Facebook pictures during the day and to see her having fun with the other dogs.
