I would highly recommend Walnut Tree Dog Services!! Kris was absolutely fantastic! He was kind, patient, friendly and encouraging. He made sure we understood what we needed to do training wise, then emailed everything over in detail and no question was too silly. He got to know us and our dog. Truly Amazing!! I still can’t believe what Walnut tree dog services has achieved for me and Archie (18 month old spaniel) in such a short time. I have tried a couple “dog training” services locally but had not found the right outcome and came away feeling really disappointed. I was starting to feel hopeless and felt that perhaps I was contributing to Archie’s behavioural challenges. However, after the first initial meeting with Kris, I knew immediately I had finally found the right place. Kris travelled to my home, took the time to understand Archie and his behaviours and in such a short time appeared to have an instant connection, which I had not seen before. The training sessions fitted in so well to my busy schedule and it’s been such a relief to to know I can leave Archie in Kris’ company while I’m away, knowing his training would continue. Kris offered so much after care and advice which really meant that Archie’s journey continued in a positive direction. I feel like our lives have been transformed! I now have one happy and content dog and an even happier owner. I think it’s fair to say we both look forward to the times when Archie goes to stay with Kris while I am away and every time I pick him up he seems happier and happier. Two Words. Life changing! Ophelia had a wonderful first experience of boarding with Kris and Emily at Walnut Tree Dog Services. She was made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. We were given plenty of opportunity to talk through her routines which was very reassuring for owners of a lively 7 month old cocker spaniel. While we were away we were sent regular ‘pup dates’ with photos and videos. She loved all the countryside walks as well as having lots of fun training in the garden. It was obvious after just 4 days that Ophelia had been very happy, was well-cared for and had plenty of stimuli. More...

We speacialise in dogs who exhibit complex behaviour traits as well as core obedience training.
We can help you with basic puppy training either at one of our classes in Norfolk and Suffolk, or 1:1 in your own home, setting you up for success for the future.
For slightly older dogs we offer 1:1 sessions either in your home or at our base in Besthorpe (if it's appropriate to meet your desired outcomes).

Our aim with all training is to keep dogs in their family homes and allow the best relationship possible between the dog and owner. When working we aim to give you the confidence and the tools you need to achieve your goals in as fewer sessions as possible.
Dog walking
Regular and ad-hoc walking along the A11 corridor from Attleborough to south Norwich area (and surrounding villages). Same person walking your dog each day unlike other walking companies. No more than 5 dogs walked at once. Fully insured.
Dog Boarding
In home boarding offered at our home near Attleborough. We only care for one additional households dogs at a time so you have confidence your dog is able to settle and relax whilst you’re away. Licenced and insured.
