Walking Pawz

Maisie and her lovely Walking Pawz team came highly recommended in Summer 2022 through a trusted friend who still uses the service. We enlisted Maisie’s support from that sunny day when Maisie came to meet our precious pup and immediately gave us a few useful puppy tips gelling straight away with us all.

Maisie, Théa and her team have the best can-do attitude you’ll ever find whilst also being dog whisperers. From puppy check-ins and let-outs to shorter walks or play sessions until fully grown our bundle of canine gorgeousness has been lovingly cared for. Overall, I’d say they’re gentle… there’s a sense of calm combined with excellent knowledge of their trade which gives us the greatest confidence that our dog is in good hands.

Their patience and care with car sickness was so appreciated and teaching her to swim was a very special highlight!

The team are careful with cleaning of the mud from the great fun walks and swims before delivering back into the house and we are confident in their safety and security.

Walking Pawz are my first port of call whenever I need cover for my 3 very large dogs. The dogs adore them and come home so happy.

The Walking Pawz team are amazing! Before our miniature dachshund went walking with them she wasn’t very keen on walks. She was very shy and nervous around other dogs we would meet whilst out walking. We decided to get a dog Walker to get her more socialised and give her some time away from us as well to get used to that and we are so glad we chose Walking Pawz for this! She absolutely loves going for walks with them and is always so happy when she comes back, which is fantastic. Maisie and the team are excellent. It was our first time using a dog walking service and I was very nervous of trusting somebody with my dog but when I met Maisie on our meet and greet session I instantly felt at ease. Maisie’s love and enthusiasm for dogs is obvious from the moment you meet her. She is also very friendly and professional and will go above and beyond for your dog.
I love getting updates and photos of how bramble is getting on. She has also improved on her recall thanks to these ladies.

Maisie and the team are fantastic. Our Labrador George has been walking with them for over a year and is always so excited when they pick him up. The socialising has been great for him and has improved his behaviour with other dogs.

We have been using Walking Pawz for over a year now and could not speak more highly of Maisie and her amazing team. The basics they do very well (always on time, always friendly, always tiring out Lyra, always communicating) as one would expect! But it is the going ‘above and beyond’ that stands this team apart. I’ve lost count of the times the team has had to bail us out and had to sort Lyra out of schedule, popping to the house to let her out and even staying over a few times when we have unexpectedly had to go away. We have to travel a lot and being able to rely on Maisie to not just take Lyra on walks but also house sit is such amazing reassurance. I have loved seeing Maisie’s business grow and expand from the first time we met and I know that will continue. Most importantly of all, I think Lyra loves the walkers as much as us! Maisie and the ladies at Walking Pawz are very friendly and professional.
From the outset Maisie listened to me and what Kobi needed. She was used to dealing with large breeds and was very good at selecting new friends for Kobis who would match his energy levels.
I always get an update on Kobis session when the ladies drop him back home- what he did, who he played with etc. Just like my child going to nursery!

Myself and my partner recently both returned to work after a long time working from home. Maisie has taken such amazing care of Marie, that it’s made the whole process so much more stress free. Marie has the happiest time walking with the pack and then gets home and sleeps solidly in her crate. Nothing is too much trouble - Maisie will give her a prepared bone from freezer when she drops her off, or feed her. When we work long days Maisie will walk her twice a day so we don’t need to worry about her being alone and bored. When Maisie first started walking Marie, Marie was quiet wary of strange people. Maisie was entirely unfazed by it, and worked patiently to make her feel as calm and comfortable as possible. Within a few weeks she was noticeably more confident. Now she wants to greet every human she meets on walks (no matter how muddy she is.. which is a whole other problem!!) It is abundantly clear that everything Maisie and her team do is for the love of dogs, and for that reason we never have to worry for a second that she won’t take care of Marie just as well (if not better!!) than we would. I’d highly recommend Walking Paws. Maisie takes our young Frenchie for lunch time walks when we are at work, which she loves and comes back ready for a big nap. We feel in very safe hands.

Maisie is super friendly, hard-working and reliable, and is always so accommodating for any last minute needs / requests. She provides a wide range of services, including one-to-one and group walks, home pop-ins, and half- or full- day care . Maisie first offered a meet and greet session at home to make sure my dog Daisy was comfortable and at ease before her first walk, and from this it was clear to see that Maisie is a natural around dogs, and Daisy instantly loved her!
Daisy can be shy and nervous in new situations, however, Maisie has been amazing at introducing her to other dogs in a calm and friendly environment, and Daisy’s confidence has definitely grown! Maisie offers professional tips and advice on key areas for training, which has been extremely helpful for Daisy’s puppy development.
