I am a professional dog walker serving the East Kilbride area, having retired from the police after thirty years. As I’d had dogs most of my life and after exploring the local countryside daily with my very active Working Cocker Spaniel Luna I decided to combine my love of dogs and the great outdoors and become a professional dog walker. I offer small group walks with a maximum of four to six dogs depending on the group, one to one bespoke walks, & home visits. I have a specially equipped air conditioned van for collection and return for the walks in the local countryside including Calderglen Country Park, Langlands Moss and Whitelee Wind Farm. My group walks are best suited to active breeds that are used to a moderate to high level of activity. They last a minimum of one hour but often run over and I cover 3 to 4 miles of varied terrain. Where it is safe to do so, and with their owner’s consent the dogs are off the lead and free to run, sniff, play and explore. I never use enclosed dog fields as I do not believe they offer a varied or interesting environment for dogs to explore. I enjoy walking and always track my walks which I can share with owners. I also regularly WhatsApp photos to owners. I am DBS checked, K9 first aid trained and fully insured. Whatever your requirements you can rest assured that I will give your dog the care and attention that I give my own.
