Brilliant job by AJ from Wales Wide photography, turned up to location even earlier than myself, had everything set up already.
He provided his own high quality equipment and took nearly 500 photos throughout the ceremony and even drove to a second location for the reception with us. He even managed to get some great angles of a notoriously non-photogenic man (me).
Incredibly professional, gave suggestions for different settings and managed to get the entire ceremony on HD video with everything all on one easy to access website for us to link to friends and family. Very friendly and professional, my wife made an amazing choice hiring him for the day, all for a very affordable price.

Wales Wide Photography were amazing! The original photographer for our wedding pulled out four days before the big day and we had no hope of finding a new one. That was until I left an advert on bark! Wales Wide Photography contacted me within 24 hours and were able to work to the budget and timing of our wedding. We were married at 9am in Crewe and the meal wasn’t until 6pm. The photographer traveled from wales and was first to arrive at the registry office in the morning and stayed at the venue to photograph the meal later on. A true pleasure, amazing photos of our day and a very warm and friendly photographer to work with. We would love Wales Wide Photography to shoot our larger destination wedding in 2 years time. Arwel is such a lovely person. He came for a family party to a house we had rented for the weekend. It was so special to capture all the moments and he made everyone feel at ease. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
That's a great question, and there is no one answer. There are so many things, and the best thing is that none of them are really a secret. A great photograph will draw the viewer in, will make them stop and gaze and be amazed by what they see. There will be something that captivates the viewer, connects with the viewer, and causes a reaction or an emotion. You might not remember everything you see in a great photograph, but you will remember how you feel. And you will be drawn back, again and again.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Of course, the practical details that are necessary, but the more important question is not about the photograph or the project, but about the end-result or goal you are seeking. What are you looking to achieve?
What do you love most about your job?
Making a difference. It's about leaving people in a better place than they were before. It's about creating a moment of joy or happiness that will hopefully grow into a more lasting positive change in people, and in the world.
What inspired you to start your own business?
It was originally my love of North Wales and the decades that I have spent taking photographs in remote and in more populated areas. But it's also about the people and the businesses in North Wales, and helping them succeed and move more towards achieving their dreams in life.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Although it is a less of a risk today, we continue to operate in a way that reduces the risk of disease transmission. This includes the use of sanitisers where it may be advisable, minimising social contact and maintaining social distancing where it may be advisable. As much of our work is outdoors, the risk is minimised. Often our indoor work does not require close contact with large numbers of people, which again minimises risk. Additional measure may be taken where advised, for example where there are people at high-risk such as the elderly or those with pre-existing conditions.
