Hazell provided an outstanding service. Not only did she make me feel comfortable and relaxed with our puppy Alfie going in for his first big boy cut she also made Alfie feel relaxed and calm. Puppy Groom
This includes 3 sessions minimum.
First session to get to know the dog, desensitise the dog to the sights and sounds of the salon.
A bath, dry using the stand dryer. The blaster might be put on for the noise for a few seconds/mins in back ground.
If dog is calm then a nail clip next if allowable.
Clear eye area of puppy allows.
Treats are to be provided by owner to avoid upset stomachs.
Sensitive shampoo with a blueberry facial wash to be used on the puppy.
Lots of play, play, play.
Second session is the same as above, and depending on the puppy then to move onto introducing the sound of the clippers.
If appropriate clip hygiene areas, pads, place clippers over back of dogs back gently to get pup used to feel of them.
Third groom is all above and full groom.
Obviously this all depends on the puppy. I am open to discussing with you your pups needs and fundamentally to giving the best experience so that your pup enjoys their time at WAGS.
Each puppy experience is £20 and lasts approx 1 hour.
Full Groom
I will gather as much information from you to ensure I give the best experience to your dog.
A full groom consists of a bath, a blueberry facial massage and dry.
The groom then is pads, paws, nails, hygiene areas, scissor, clip or deshed of the coat, facial groom and clean ears.
Price is dependant on breed type.
Bath
Some dogs just require a regular bath.
The type of shampoo used will depend on the information you have supplied. A dog with allergies would have sensitive shampoo.
The dog will be bathed, have ears cleaned, pads/paws done and then nails clipped.
