We got married in June and couldn’t have had a better service from these guys. The booking process was so easy and stress free. David our driver was absolutely outstanding. A true gent and great credit to the company. He was very patient with us and made my wife feel very special on her day. The VW van itself was perfect. Would highly recommend VW Campervans for your wedding day. Was a great addition to the day and made fo some great photos and a lovely drive as newly weds to our venue. Our driver Dave was superb, really friendly. We had an issue with our VW van which we were going to use for the groomsmen but it broke down the day before the big day. Cannot recommend enough! Everything was amazing! Emails and questions were quickly responded too. They checked in the day before to make sure everything was in place. Our driver Mark was fabulous and really easy going when it came to having to drive to the church a second time as we were early and the photographers missed us arriving! We booked Lois VW campervan and a 7-seater Mercedes people carrier to transport the brides and our immediate family. We informed Rob that 6 people would need to be accommodated in the VW and 4 in the Mercedes. At the time of the booking this was not a problem. The week prior to the wedding we were informed that only 4 would be allowed in the VW campervan, and the larger party would need to go in the Mercedes. Whilst this was frustrating, we accepted this and compromised. On the morning of the wedding, the Mercedes people carrier did not arrive, and it was only when a member of the party alerted us to this, the driver got in touch with Rob. Rob was 100 miles away on holiday, and informed us that the vehicle had broken down. He informed us he would ring local taxi companies, and welcomed any resolutions - essentially asking if we could resolve this problem whilst travelling to our wedding venue. After 30-40 minutes of no resolve, and little communication from Rob, the bridal party of 6 ended up driving to the wedding in their own cars, and as a result was 30 minutes late to the venue, and thus delaying the ceremony. Following the wedding, we did not have a ride in the VW campervan as outlined by Rob during our previous conversations. A short window of time was made for photos to be taken, however due to the delay this was rushed. Following the wedding day, Rob refunded us the money for the car, however this gesture does not compensate for the stress caused prior to the ceremony, and missed opportunities for photos with people who matter the most. We hope this experience doesn't happen to you, or your bride, and that if you book with this company the 'making your day special' tag advertised comes true, as this didn't for us and we were left disappointed. We wanted to do something extra special for our best friend's hen party and knowing how much she loves all things vintage, we decided to start the day by hiring a VW Camper Van. Rob was one of the first people I called and he was really helpful and even though it was a busy summer period with many weddings having been rearranged, he was able to fit us in and provide the vehicle (and prosecco if required) for a few hours. The hen was overjoyed when she saw Lois outside. It was beautifully decorated inside and out with some lovely touches, including a champagne bar, and our driver Dave ensured we had plenty of photo opportunities as he took us to and from each of the destinations.
