Brilliant facilities, excellent service, friendly staff. I go to the gym there, and the staff are always helpful if I need them, and there's plenty of a equipment so I'm not left hanging around to use a piece of equipment.

Brilliant gym and pool so welcoming and helpful. Friendly well trained staff even if fitness is not usually for you. Go there soon for a great time.

The swimming pool is a great size here especially if there are a lot of people swimming. The diving area is great, and you get to use three separate diving boards which are perfect fun if you're with friends. If you're here for serious swimming, make sure you check the times or else you'll end up swimming with children that disturb you. For a £3 swimming experience, this is a good idea to spend an afternoon. More...

This pool has been around for many many years now and in just a few places is showing its age especially in style, this kind of design would not be found if built today, however the council has done everything to make it as modern as possible.
Importantly everything works, the showers, dryers, toilets etc, the changing rooms have enough space and private areas to cater for everyone, the pool it's self is warm and inviting and there is ample lifeguard support, there is a separate pool for little ones and the main pool can be divided into an are for public and school swimming.
I only go mid morning swimming so have no idea of how busy it can get but certainly at that time there is ample swimming area
Entry cost is £5 but get a Vivacity card and you get 10% off.
Well worth a visit.

Me and my girlfriend really like the pool, the facilities are at a great price and everything is nice and clean. Pool is big and relaxing. One thing that brought the mood down was a few of the lifeguards. We felt as though they were laughing at us in some way and maybe even gossiping. This made us feel uncomfortable and unwanted, and even embarrassed. They may have just been laughing about something else but they kept looking at us and laughing. Overall a good experience though. Viewing of swimming competitions and training. Good views of the pool, take a cushion as the seats are hard after 2 hours of viewing. Prepare to strip off as it gets warm in summer. More...

Has a great pool and gym. Only downside would be that it hasn't been updated in a while and the membership is quite expensive but I have enjoyed my experience there.

A good place if you want to swing or use the fitness equipment. Only issue is that it could be cleaner - some dirty areas in the changing rooms, etc.

Good regional pool with good value for money swimming lessons. There is a diving pit with 3 boards and a teaching pool for the littles which is always balmy and warm.

I have only used this for taking my little boy to start swimming but I have to say I like it. The prices aren't too high, the facilities are good, the teaching pool is nice and warm and it seems well enough cared for. I can't fault it really.

Good swimming pool for teaching juniors. Enough room in changing areas. Vending machines available. Parking can be tight on some days of an event at regional track is on. Parking charge is £1 for 3.5 hours, but machines have been removed, so you have to pay at reception. More...

The staff here are always happy to help and the Pool is well managed. Though the changing area could be cleaned more often due to large numbers in and out.
