I contacted Viva Planning in December as my mother wanted to set up an LPA. We shopped around and our local solicitors where charging £350 for each. We spoke with Viva Planning on a video call and not only was Jamie polite and we'll knowledged, they actually filled out all of the forms for the LPAs and and my mum just needed to post them off and pay the £82 each. They spend almost 2 hours helping us and they didn't charge us anything. We will recommend them to everyone. Thanks again Jamie for all of your help More...

As a company, we find the most rewarding aspect of estate planning is helping individuals and families secure their futures and protect their assets. We also enjoy the intellectual challenge of solving complex legal and financial issues unique to each client. Additionally, building relationships and providing peace of mind to our clients is deeply fulfilling.

The inspiration to start our own estate planning business stemmed from a desire to provide personalized and high-quality services to individuals and families seeking guidance in securing their financial futures. We saw an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by offering tailored solutions and building lasting relationships with our clients. Additionally, we were motivated by the flexibility and autonomy that entrepreneurship affords, allowing us to innovate and adapt to the evolving needs of our clients and the industry.

Clients should choose us because we prioritize their needs above all else. We offer personalized estate planning services and go the extra mile by providing free Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) drafting to help them avoid solicitor fees. Yes, we offer our services online. We conduct the majority of our business via video link, providing a convenient and accessible way for clients to engage with us from the comfort of their own homes. Additionally, we offer free video consultations to understand our clients' needs better, ensuring that we can tailor our services to meet their specific requirements effectively. Our commitment to leveraging technology allows us to provide seamless and personalized estate planning solutions regardless of location.

To ensure the safety of our customers during the Covid-19 pandemic, we have implemented several changes:

Remote Services: We have shifted the majority of our services to remote and online platforms, including video consultations and document signings, reducing the need for in-person interactions.

Enhanced Sanitization: For essential in-person meetings, we have implemented rigorous sanitization protocols in our office spaces, including regular disinfection of surfaces and providing hand sanitizers for clients and staff.

Social Distancing: We have adjusted our office layouts and meeting arrangements to facilitate social distancing guidelines, ensuring that clients and staff can maintain a safe distance during any necessary in-person interactions.

Mask Requirements: In line with local regulations and recommendations, we require all staff and clients to wear masks during any in-person meetings or visits to our office spaces.

Flexible Rescheduling: We understand that circumstances may change due to Covid-19-related issues, so we offer flexible rescheduling options for appointments to accommodate any last-minute changes or concerns.

By implementing these measures, we are committed to providing a safe and secure environment for our clients while continuing to deliver high-quality estate planning services.

Services

Asset protection refers to the strategies and measures individuals or businesses undertake to safeguard their assets from potential risks such as lawsuits, creditors, bankruptcy, or other financial threats.

Tenancy in Common (TIC) is a legal arrangement in which two or more parties share ownership rights in a real estate property or parcel of land. Each independent owner may control an equal or different percentage of the total property, whether commercial or residential. The parties are known as tenants in common.

Customized wills, also known as bespoke wills or personalized wills, are legal documents created to outline an individual's wishes regarding the distribution of their assets and the handling of their affairs after their death. Unlike standard or template-based wills, which offer a basic framework for distributing assets, customized wills are tailored to the specific needs, circumstances, and desires of the individual making the will (the testator).

Trusts are legal arrangements in which a person (the "trustor" or "settlor") transfers assets to another person or entity (the "trustee") to manage and hold for the benefit of one or more individuals or organizations (the "beneficiaries"). Trusts are created for various purposes, including estate planning, asset protection, charitable giving, and managing assets for minor children or individuals with special needs.

Disinheritance in the context of remarriage involves the intentional decision by a person who has remarried to exclude certain individuals, such as children from a previous marriage, from inheriting assets or property upon their death. This scenario often arises due to the desire to provide for a new spouse or children from the current marriage, potentially leaving out individuals from previous relationships.

We offer tailored guidance to individuals and families seeking to minimize inheritance tax liabilities. We assess clients' financial situations and devise bespoke strategies, utilizing allowances, reliefs, trusts, and other tools to optimize tax efficiency.

A Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) is a legal document in the UK that allows an individual (the donor) to appoint one or more people (attorneys) to make decisions on their behalf should they become unable to do so themselves due to illness, injury, or other incapacitating circumstances. There are two main types of LPAs: Property and Financial Affairs LPA, which grants attorneys authority over the donor's finances and assets, and Health and Welfare LPA, which allows attorneys to make decisions about the donor's healthcare and personal welfare.

As estate planners, we offer comprehensive strategies to minimize the impact of probate on our clients' estates. Our tailored services include the creation of estate plans that utilize legal tools and structures designed to reduce the need for probate proceedings.
