We went for pizza on a Friday evening in March. We didn't realise how popular it was and had to order our pizza and come back an hour later to pick it up so I highly recommend ringing and ordering in advance. Pizza and garlic sauce was absolutely delicious and will definitely be going back again. Would be nice if there was some seating available to eat on the premises. Edit: visited again in September and there was outdoor seating available. Parking: There is limited on street parking near the pizza kitchen but at busy times it is easier to access on foot. More...

I can't recommend this business highly enough. We visited this weekend for the first 'Pizza Making Masterclass' and had such a wonderful time. Simonetta showed us how to make a no-knead dough, and after making the dough we then topped (and scoffed) our own pizzas. Simonetta and Jo were clearly so experienced in the kitchen and answered all our many questions about our own situations so we could take what we'd learned and put it to use in our own homes. The pizzas we cooked on the day were delicious, the company in the room was wonderful, but what I'm the most pleased about is that using the dough I brought home, I have cooked the best pizza I've ever made at home and I couldn't wipe the smile from my face while I was eating. I have been recommending the class to friends and family since we walked out the door and will definitely go back myself in future. Having moved to the area last year, it's also really nice to meet some other locals and understand the people behind the business a bit more too. My SINGLE disappointment here is nothing to do with VPK but rather in Google Maps - (!) - as I have to edit my past review, so in writing this I'm erasing the glowing review I'd left before of the takeaway pizza which is of course also beautiful. When I spoke to the team on the phone to place the order they were polite, and on arrival service was prompt and within the window allocated when I booked. It was great that the team could accommodate our order during what would likely have been one of their busiest slots on a Friday evening. The food looked hot, and the pizza and cheesy garlic bread were well topped. The house slaw looked good and was a generous portion. Ideas for the future would be an online ordering facility and extending the hours of the salad bar - the options look really expansive and this would be a great alternative for those not looking for pizza or pasta. So close!! My better half tried calling from 19.50, as I am on the train back from work, but it was ringing through to voicemail. Then we both tried and I did get through at 19.58 only to be get the bad news that they weren't taking more orders. Appreciate it is end of the shift but as it is only open 5-8pm i honestly feel a little flat that they couldnt make it happen on this occasion especially after finishing off a 13 hour shift and just wanting pizza 💭 🍕 Maybe there were other factors too on their side. We offer buffet catering for a wide range of events, including business lunches, team meetings, corporate events, birthday parties, weddings, funerals and hen and stag dos.
We can provide an extensive selection of delicious hot and cold artisan food options for delivery within a 5 mile radius of Village Pizza Kitchen (further for cold buffets).
We use high quality, largely British ingredients - many of which are locally sourced and we make everything from scratch. Whether you are wanting pizzas, pasta dishes, sandwiches, paninis, salads or antipasti, we can tailor a menu that works for you.
Mobile pizza catering
We can also provide onsite catering with our lovely converted horsebox, Little Pizza Kitchen. Complete with wood fired oven, we can prepare and cook our delicious artisan pizzas at your chosen location, which can be presented on sharing boards or boxed and served individually. We are additionally able to offer a range of other dishes, such as canapés, salads and pasta dishes to accompany the pizzas.
Suitable for private, public and corporate events of 50 people or more.
Mobile bar
The Mini Bar is our second converted horsebox, which is a fully functioning mobile bar complete with a draft beer chilling system, three back bar chiller units and ice machine. We are able to offer a wide range of drinks packages to suit your requirements, from cocktails to Champagne!
Pay as you go, prepaid, combination or dry hire options available. Suitable for private, public or corporate events.
