Victorias china hire helped me organise cater and plan my wifes 50th birthday party
What’s your signature dish?
My savoury signature dish I named Spanish Chicken with Special Roasted Potatoes and vegetable melody.
My sweet signature dish is Grannies Fruit Cake.
These are dishes close to my heart, so of course, I will never share the recipe's.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
I enjoy taking time to talk with my client to ascertain what type of menu is required depending on the function.
I enjoy creating dishes that make my customers hungry for more.
What do you love most about your job?
I love the variety of my job and the people I meet from all walks of life making everyday unique.
What inspired you to start your own business?
From being at High School I had always dreamt of being an Interior Designer.
That dream got buried for years when I met my then husband, started a family and fell into the routine of normal life.
I raised my children and 30 years down the line decided it was time to do what I have always had passion for.
I grew up with Vintage China and fell in love with it all those years ago so thought "Why not let the world enjoy it"?
In teenage years came my dream of Interior Designing loving art and creating beautiful things.
In my twenties I learnt to love the art of Gift Wrapping whilst working for Christian Dior. At Christmastime i was in my element!
Heading towards 50 I thought, "Okay, I have one chance of doing everything I love for a job whilst offering bespoke services to busy people".
In January 2020 I took the big decision to create the niche business "Victoria's China Hire"
As you will all agree, 2020 has been a ridiculously difficult year in every sense, but I will not allow anything to make me give up on my dream!!!
