When we bought our London flat a few years ago, I decided to take on the task of interior designing myself. I can safely say that this was not a wise move. Over the years I have spend thousands of pounds buying stuff for my flat and then selling it on eBay, and I never managed to get the look I wanted. So when we were buying our 4 bedroom semi detached house in Birmingham I decided to use the services of an interior designer. I did not know what to expect though of an interior designer and I was also conscious of the fact that it would be a costly exercise. I started my search online and then I found Victoria. We had a very pleasant chat over the phone and followed up with some emails of our requirements. She was very easy to communicate with and was very quick in her responses.
> After our first meeting, she knew exactly what we wanted and came up with these amazing mood boards. She also has access to a team of builders, plumbers and electricians and so that made our life very easy. We also had a very tight schedule and Victoria worked extremely hard to send us the designs before Christmas. I was also surprised that her fee was also very reasonable. We were just very fortunate to find Victoria. She is not only a high calibre designer but also has a very friendly nature. Victoria is innovative yet sensitive to my own preferences. She produced fantastic designs for my rooms and sourced wonderful materials and first rate contractors, making the process so easy and stress free. I recently had a new kitchen installed and employed Victoria Embleton Interior Design to design it for me. I was thrilled with the results and am so proud of my new kitchen.

I needed to turn a small north facing study into a relaxing and welcoming counselling room for my business, but while I had some ideas I lacked confidence. Victoria, of Victoria Embleton Interior Design, listened thoughtfully to what I was hoping to achieve and chatted with me about my possible colour scheme. She introduced me to some Farrow and Ball paints which I would not have chosen myself, but with her encouragement and a taster pot I took the plunge. It was just the colour that I had had in my mind, but hadn’t been able to find. She had fully understood my concept. A few of her comments while she was in the room about items of furniture she had seen elsewhere in my home and an alternative use for them were also very perceptive. I am delighted with the result and love being in the room. I would not hesitate to use Victoria Embleton Interior Design again.

We had installed a new kitchen, and needed blinds to finish it off. We called on Victoria Embleton Interior Design to help us. Victoria did an excellent job. She was very helpful and professional and everything was done very quickly and on time. The blinds are of excellent quality and we are extremely happy with the end result. I asked Victoria Embleton Interior Design for help
with the sitting room in my barn conversion. I
had a large fireplace, low ceiling and after many
attempts could not get the look I really wanted for
this room. Victoria matched up the colour in the
existing curtains & soft furnishings and suggested
bringing both colour and wallpaper into the room.
I was quite nervous about using bold colour, but
once she obtained colour and wallpaper samples
for me I could see that this was going to work! I
am absolutely delighted with the finished result; it
has given the room the ‘Wow’ factor I always
wanted and I love being in there. She also helped
with suggestions for accessories and I can’t thank
her enough for her foresight, patience and
commitment towards getting me exactly what I
asked for. I would recommend her without
hesitation.
