Vicky came to my house sometime ago to help with my two dogs behaviour. Both my dogs are so much better behaved after a home visit from Vicky and plenty of practical advice. To be perfectly honest with you I did feel a bit silly searching out a dog psychologist, but I was at my wits end because my eldest dog kept attacking the younger dog and my younger dog was using the dining room as a toilet. I’m pleased to say that both these antisocial behaviours have stopped. Would highly recommend. More...

I contacted Vicky regarding walking other peoples dogs as well as when they stayed over. Excellent, simple to follow and concise information, which i follow and it makes for quiet, calm happy dogs. Would highly recommend Vicky.

We contacted Vicky as first time dog owners due to having a misbehaving puppy who was constantly biting us and wouldn't listen. We read many books and spoke to many people who told us things but none worked and her behaviour kept worsening. We felt our approach was inconsistent and wanted to seek a professional and luckily we found Vicky.

Vicky came round to our house to see us and our puppy and she has a very calm demeanour, she also brings a wealth of knowledge and experience and spent time educating us on all aspects of how to respond to our dogs behaviour. The delivery of the session was split in 4 sections relating to behaviour and we had the opportunity to ask questions at any point and Vicky's delivery was fantastic.

What Vicky taught us was to look at things from the dogs perspective as we wrongly looked at our dog from a human perspective, and a few simple changes instantly corrected most issues.

I cannot recommend Vicky enough as her approach really has worked for us and our puppy. We have a sheet we can always refer too, and know as part of the service we can contact Vicky to ask questions.

We called Vicky out of desperation really - we have 5 dogs most rescue but one girl particularly has it in for the other and we had a couple of situations where it got quite nasty and we were making arrangements for the dog causing the problem, to go to The Dogs Trust. Not something we wanted to do but really were lost not knowing what to do. My daughter gave me Vickys number and she was so calm and reassuring on the phone - explaining to me what was really happening and what she could do for us. We were so grateful she came the next day. Her course that evening when she visited us was enlightening as she explained dogs brains verses our brains and really what we were doing wrong, getting us to look at things in a different way. Well fast forward a few weeks now - and things have already got much better although we’re all a work in progress and we have a lot to work on in different areas but THANK YOU dearest Vicky as we are doing everything you have said bit by bit and trying hard to be consistent. Knowing you are still there to contact is also a huge relief. Love Jenny, Darrin, Jasmine and Michael...... the humans in training and Honey, Bell, Suzie, Ben and Bailey ..... our dogs who we love dearly xxxxx More...

We needed some help with our golden retriever, Benji, when he reached about 7 months old. My husband, myself and 6 children had never had a puppy before. We were quite firm with him from when he was 7 weeks old and all seemed to be going well. Then, as he got bigger, he started to assert himself. He wasn`t aggressive, just tried to show us that he was in charge of us, particularly on walks, and particularly with me. After lots of research we contacted Vicky, who responded straight away. She came round the next day and tutored us in the Amichien bonding method. Immediately, we noticed an improvement in Benji`s behaviour and we felt positive again. He is nearly 15 months now and we have had a couple of major wobbles, but we feel we have the tools to live in harmony with Benji. Great backup. Definitely recommend, though it does require work and even when you think all is perfect, you need to keep on keeping on, otherwise you may slip back into your old ways and habits....and so will your dog. All in all, so glad we found Vicky. More...

Vicky gave advise before the visit. She then came to the house where she listened to us before advising and showing us the tools to change our behaviour around our dog who was noise phobic. By going right back to basics and following the plan, I can now hoover around Amber without her flinching and she no longer runs and hides in a ditch at the sound of gunfire or a bird scarer. Follow up advise from Vicky has been excellent. More...

Vicky uses the Amichien Bonding system, founded by Jan Fennel. Vicky is amazing and really knows dogs and their psychology. She understands what it is like to own a dog and the difficulties one can encounter. I would not hesitate to recommend her. More...
