I purchased a voucher for a photo shoot for my friends 21st birthday and she had the time of her life! This was her first ever photo shoot and she couldn’t stop talking about how good it was :) we had an amazing experience and the guys at Vanity studios looked after us so well. We had our hair and make up done the way we wanted it and were offered many drinks. Nothing was rushed. The actual photo shoot session was fantastic! The photographer was friendly, funny and made us feel very relaxed. He guided us on how to pose and the results from it were brilliant! After the photo shoot we went to go and view all the photos (there were a lot) and we loved them all! It was impossible to just choose one photo so we decided to purchase one of the packages which were good value for money. I can 100% recommend Vanity Studios! The whole experience was amazing! From start to finish the staff were welcoming, warm and friendly. A really lovely touch was a welcome drink, lots of smiling faces and a brilliant atmosphere. The hair and makeup was professional which mirrored the styling team in general. We didn't have to wait long to meet the photographer who collaborated patiently with us. We had an great time at Vanity Studios. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, the make overs we had were lovely and the staff were very obliging. The photographer was brilliant, professional but relaxed and we all felt comfortable which I think came through on the photos. We loved all the pictures and the variety of backgrounds and poses offered. I had a few follow up questions after the session and these have all been dealt with promptly and the details sent through is responset have been spot on. Let me just say that vanity studios were by far the best experience I've had in a studio. The staff were lovely and encouraging and very patient with our needs. we went for a costume shoot and it took longer than expected but the end result was wonderful! Few months ago I purchased a voucher for a photo session. I took my best friend with me as I could get a guest with me. What an amazing experience we had! Guys from Vanity Studios took care of us immediately after we arrived. We were offered drinks of our choice and then invited for a hair styling and make up. Everything was done with care, with no rush and up to our likings. Photo session was great, photographer was very friendly and professional, he made it very easy and guided us so we did not have to be stressed about posing. After photo session we went through all pictures and unfortunately it was impossible to choose just one as they were so good. My friend and I decided to take one of the packages which were in really good price. Definitely I can recommend Vanity Studios. They are professional and make it great experience with lots of fun. 2014I was approached on Carnaby Street to purchase a photoshoot voucher. After the gentleman answered my many questions, I went ahead and purchased the 70 pound package that included refreshments, hair do, 2 images, hair & nail job. After having experienced difficulties on confirming a date with the agency, I began to have doubts. On of the photoshoot they ran a bit late, the hair and nails were rushed, but the drinks and photographer were beyond spectacular. The photographer took his time and was great at instructing us on the poses. After the photoshoot, my friend and I were ushered into the viewing room to select our 2 photos. The images were very well done and we could not believe how incredible we looked. While we had gone in wanting only our 2 photos, we purchased an additional set of photographs because of how great they were. The price point is a bit on the higher end, because the quality is high end. I continue to recommend my friends to vanity studios and have not heard any negative comments from them! I went to vanity studios for a cosplay shoot and can say I was very happy with the service and treatment I received.
I felt I was taken care of and treated very well by all the studio team. Makeup and hair styling was brilliant and the team, even if they didn’t fully understand my costumes and interests, did their absolute best to accommodate me and my purpose for the shoot.
I was made to feel very relaxed and cared for with drinks available any time I needed.
As for the shoot itself.. I was very impressed with the photographer and his skills as well as his professional yet friendly attitude.. even played my favourite band during the shoot to make me feel even more comfortable.

Couples Photo shoot - Rebecca took great care of myself and my partner. Had unexpected surgical procedure the day before shoot, called in to shorten the session. Staff were very accommodating and supportive. Excellent customer care, make-up artist and photographer!

Fantastic experience. as a transgender women i was quite nervous about the photo shoot . Me and my mother went along for a mother daughter day. The minute we got there we were welcomed with a glass of bubbly , our nalis were manicured and we had our hair and make up done which was fabulous, a real confidence boost for me and my mother. We then had our photoshoot and the potographer showed us what to do .We got to pick the photos wich were a little pricy but well worth the money.We did get a couple for free . The Photographer was simply amazing, I felt really comfortable with doing my shoot and he knew exactly what he was looking for and I left with some amazing photos for my portfolio.

The girls who did my hair and makeup were also attentive to my needs and I got the natural 'me' look that I wanted.

I felt when it came to agreeing on the photos, I managed to get a very good deal but fortunately for me I stuck to my max budget and managed to negotiate a great deal, but you really need to be firm and know your cut off point as the sales guy is VERY very good at doing business.

scam. Was approached in the street to buy two vouchers for the price of one. I paid 50 pounds. I was told it was an exclusive promotion of the day so should buy it at that moment. I was promised an email confirmation after the purchase. I never got the email and I saw these promotion running for longer time so they were just pushing me to buy it. The girl also promised me I had a year to book and enjoy my appointment, but then is only 2 months. A complete disappointment. Very unprofessional and just trying to take your money. It was totally waste of time and disappointment - bad hair, bad make up, no wonder that the pictures were one of the worst I have ever seen myself in. Nail polish never dried out, so I wonder about the quality of all products they used.
It is like a scam - they make you waste your time for this photo-shoot, and then press you into buying photos hoping since you've already wasted so much time you would buy some photos. You are allowed to take only one photo with you for free, the rest are at around £50 each! Be careful - it is a trap!!! More...

Went here for a friend's photo shoot recently. Welcomed by the make up artist who was friendly and polite. Offered drinks we had Buck's Fizz, wasn't the best but hey no big deal. Make up was done, looked nice, then we met the photographer who I have to say was charming and made us feel at ease. He took his time taking shots and all was well. After 4hrs we then we taken into a room to look at my friends photos on a computer. The lady that dealt with us was initially friendly but then came the hard selling tactics. My friend was asked if she had a credit card and how much credit she could afford was totally intrusive, unprofessional and bad practice! To say we felt under duress to place an order is an understatement. What she offered as a "one off deal" was extortionate for what it was. 8 photos on a cd for over £300!! Not even hard copies! This lady was pushy, and quite offensive which left a bitter taste in our mouths and quite frankly the whole day was a rip off. Do not go here thinking it is value for money as you are pushed into spending your money. More...

!!!SCAM!!! I bought a voucher for a photo shoot for a friend's birthday and it was the worst thing I ever did! Voucher stated that one photo was "for free" in the package, but it was not provided in the end and she had to pay £50 per picture. They charge a booking fee of £150 which they assured her she would get back and she still hasn't gotten back after 2 whole weeks. Stay away!! Report them!! Sue them!!! SCAM!!! More...

I have to admit I was slightly dreading going to the photoshoot because I was worried I had been a bit idiotic and fallen for a scam (I got a voucher on the street). I'm happy to say that as soon as I arrived at Vanity Studios my worries were eased.Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. The hair and makeup artists were of great quality and a nice chat, too. The photographer was fantastic -- he directed me with what poses to do based on the lighting and setting (which I was very thankful for because I wouldn't have really known what to do!). He was really kind and had a great sense of humor that eased me.Most importantly, the photos came out really well. There were options in both black and white as well as colour. The photographer clearly had a great eye and so I was very pleased with the resultsIf I could I would give Vanity Studios 4.5 stars. I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 because the price of each image is a bit extortionate (£70 per image if purchasing 1-3 images, £60 if 4-5, etc). When these images add up it seems that the voucher isn't as good of a deal as it was first made out to be, especially considering that this cost does not include any retouching.  That being said, I still ended up spending over £200 on the images because they WERE that good and to me, it was worth it! I definitely would recommend Vanity Studios to anyone looking for a little pampering, a bit of an ego rub, and some fabulous photos. More...
