Vanilla Bean catered for 110 people at our wedding at Hampton Court House recently. A big thank you to Martin, Gareth and the whole team! Everything exceeded our expectations and we received many compliments on the amazing food! We enjoyed the tasting beforehand, the logistics were really well organised and we appreciated the colour and glassware suggestions too - it all came together really well and we were also impressed with the attention to detail. Vanilla bean catered our wedding at Hampton court house. Gareth and the team did an amazing job! From the start Gareth’s communication was excellent. He listened to what we wanted and provided helpful advice to help guide our final decisions. After we decided to take our food in a different direction after the first tasting Gareth arranged a second tasting for us to try some new dishes. On the day the food itself was delicious and really well presented, with lots of our guests telling us after how much they enjoyed it. The caprioska cocktails they made for our cocktail hour flew off the tables. The service team were friendly and efficient and our guests were never left wanting. Gareth was there on the day in the kitchen making sure everything went to plan and made a point of coming out later in the day to say congrats and check everything had gone well, which was a nice touch. We also appreciated Vanilla Bean accommodating our smaller details such as limoncello shots on the tables at speech time and the small touches throughout the day which helped keep things moving. Lovely team, incredible food, and our event manager Liam went absolutely above and beyond in terms of delivery on the day. Gareth and his team at Vanilla Bean organised the most amazing party for our ‘New York’ themed 25th wedding anniversary. The food was absolutely delicious, from the China Town prawn fried rice and dim sum to the Harlem fried chicken and host of themed canapés and cocktails . The Manhattan street scene they created in the marquee was brilliant and all our guest loved having photos with, and on top of, the New York taxi! It was such a pleasure and delight to work with everyone at Vanilla Bean, Gareth made all the planning feel stress free, effortless and fun. FANTASTIC!! We chose Vanilla Bean to cater for our wedding at Hampton Court House on 28th July and we couldn't be more thrilled that we chose them! ! From our initial call with Gareth, right down to the day itself everything was absolutely flawless. VBs level of organisation is second to none- we felt in such safe hands throughout the whole process and Gareth was almost like a wedding planner in that he was detailed and guided us through everything- right down to the beautiful table settings! We were blown away during our wedding tasting and even more gobsmacked on the day when everything was the same high standard when catering to 93. All our guests commented how delicious the food was and what good size portions they received- something they very much appreciated! The presentation of the food was incredible and I can't believe such a beautiful standard was achieved for such a large crowd! Vanilla Bean also ran our bars (main dance floor and gin bar) and all our guests commented on how amazing the bar staff were- particularly the two gin bar ladies. All Vanilla Bean's staff were exceptional, congratulating us throughout the day and being so friendly and smiley. Huge shout out to Victor too for running front of house during the day- he was calm, composed and friendly even though I can imagine it was a busy, long day! We saw him the next morning and he still had a huge smile- hats off to you Victor! We also had to organise a last minute indoor confetti throw due to the rain and VB cleaned everything up in record time and with a smile. We cannot recommend VB highly enough, I believe one of our engaged friends even left with your card as he was so blown away! Vanilla Bean did a fantastic job on Saturday 21st. We had just under 50 people. The canapes, urban and bowl food the chef turned out unusual and very delicious . All the staff were helpful, respectful and kind. Nothing was to much trouble. They used my kitchen. It was very clean when they left and having brought all the china glass and other equipment it went with them at the end of the party. Thank you for making it so special. More...

VB are absolutely Outstanding. VB have recently helped us with a special event and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From my initial contact with Gareth it was clear he had oodles of experience and that we were in the hands of a real professional from the outset . We had to defer the event 4 times due to COVID and each time Gareth could not have been more understanding and helpful in accommodating the new date. He was brilliant to collaborate with, with lots of great ideas and advice on how to make the event a real WOW occasion. I also appreciated that he was upfront where he felt we would get the best deals and advice on other quality contractors to use. I honestly felt that throughout he cared as much about the success of my event as I did - which is a very special feeling when working with service partners in my experience. This is very unique and special and sets VB truly apart from the rest. For the event itself the catering staff were truly superb - everyone was commenting on the great food and attentiveness of the servers - they couldn't do enough for my guests and were smart, helpful and super efficient. A big shout out also for the DJ who was just brilliant. And last but not least to Jimmy - the event manager on the night, who was just incredible. He took care of absolutely everything on the night to ensure I could really enjoy my party and not worry about anything. He had his eye on absolutely everything - setting everything up beautifully, co-ordinating food/drinks, timings for food, front of house etc. So delightful and energetic and truly Jimmy was a major part of making sure we had a lovely, lovely evening.
