To be honest I never read a single review on Vamos when I was looking for this service 4 weeks ago so I was taking a bit of chance. Firstly we actually booked this rather late but Melissa did not miss a beat and never made me feel it was an imposition. I was so impressed and pleasantly surprised at the fantastic level of service and quality of food we got on the day. From booking this service to delivery I could not have asked for a better experience. I was kept informed to let me know when they would arrive. The staff were all neat and well turned out and very very experienced at what they do. They all arrived early to prep the food with minimal impact. They helped whenever they could. We used Vamos Paella for our wedding in June and from the moment of our first enquiry through to the day itself, Melissa and her team were nothing short of amazing. Organising a wedding for so many people was a daunting prospect and getting the food just right was one of our top priorities but Melissa completely took away any stresses or anxiety we had. She always made herself available to answer questions we had and offered up so much additional help and advice along the way, from looking over our list of catering hires to recommending how much ice to buy in for the bar! Melissa also organised the waiting staff for us and they deserve a special mention too. Nothing was too big an ask for the team. Like Melissa, they all went above and beyond to ensure not only that everything ran smoothly but also that my husband and I had the best day possible.The menu Melissa designed was absolutely delicious. I couldn't recommend Vamos Paella more highly. We were let down at the last minute by a caterer for our wedding but the moment I phoned Vamos Paella I knew that everything would be OK! Thank you Melissa for catering at mine and Liam's wedding (105 adults and 44 kids)! You were amazing. The food was incredible - our favourites were the mini chorizos and the paellas (Liam loved the veggie one and he is a staunch meat eater! whereas I liked the classic mixed one) - and everyone, Spanish, Portuguese and British agreed it was delicious. The waiters and Bea, the maitre d', were impeccable, pleasant and incredibly professional - it all went so incredibly smoothly, I was so glad to not to have to worry about a single thing. The lunch was beautifully served (I heard rave reviews of the roast beef sandwiches and the tartlets) and the dinner was such a huge success. The service provided by Vamos Paella was excellent. They catered for our wedding party and were extremely professional throughout. We asked them to cater for 50 but in fact about 60 people turned up. Nevertheless the paella dishes managed to feed everyone and all comments from guests were positive. The cheese tower was our centerpiece and was beautifully decorated with flowers and fruit.

Melissa, Beatrice and the whole team were exceptional to work with. They took to the time to understand our needs and the uniqueness of the wedding so that by the time the day came everything ran smoothly. Thank you Melissa and team for such a fabulous service. All 3 paellas were exceptional and we had such lovely feedback from our guests at birthday party for 200 at beachside venue in Brighton. Nothing seemed to phase Melissa in terms of me changing plans and numbers and adding extras at short notice! Melissa also took lots of trouble to go and check out the space at the venue and liaise with the team there so I felt really confident it would all work well and we were really thrilled with the result. When we decided to get married, we thought Paella would be a very good idea to feed our guest as half of them were Spanish and we wanted them to feel as welcome as possible to UK. We then found Vamos Paella and they were very easy to deal with. We went to Melissa's house and she welcome us with lots of lovely food to try and definitely we went home with full belly's and very happy thoughts.
The wedding day was absolutely a successful day!
All our guest were so happy with the food Vamos Paella delivered and very impressed with flavours. The team was fantastic and very professional, they catered to all our needs very well. We had food all day through and we all had such an amazing day!!

We contacted Melissa to cater for our evening house party in North London for 60 people. From start to finish we experienced exceptional service. We had planned to use our garden, someone had other ideas it’s started raining at 2pm and didn’t stop! - we were a bit stressed, but once our Chef Oz turned up and started cooking the paella from the Comida Menu that we had chosen, we knew it was all going to be ok. Vamos Paella recently catered for our wedding at Grittenham Barn. The experience was exceptional from start to finish, with Melissa taking so much care and time to listen and understand our requirements. Vamos Paella provided the most delicious food and brilliant service at our wedding in Hampshire. Melissa couldn't have been better, from the moment we met her during the tasting we knew she'd be completely organised and responsive. As the wedding was fairly DIY (in a garden!) she totally understood we needed help ensuring we had all the necessary equipment, cutlery and crockery and was great giving pointers and remembering things we would have forgotten! The food itself was absolutely amazing with lots of guests saying it was the best wedding food they'd ever had!! There was great choice and the fact that guests could have seconds went down very well. We hired Vamos Paella for my recent 50th Birthday Party. We wanted someone to cater for us but didn't want the cooking in the kitchen. Vamos is the perfect solution. The team arrived and set up in the garden and within a very short time the smell of wonderful fresh paella was drifting in to the house. We used Vamos for our wedding reception - catering for 130 guests, setting up the tables and serving with the maitre'd co-ordinating the day.
The food from tapas to paella was delicious and looked really wonderful, lots of out guests commented how tasty it was and what a novel idea paella is for a wedding reception.
The service was very professional and we barely noticed the staff who efficiently served and cleared canapes, tea and coffee and dessert as well as the main meal.

Absolutely delicious paella, professional service, and a great price. I could not recommend Vamos Paella any more.
I have used them for two events, one with 100 people, the other 400 people. At both events, they were extremely efficient, and served delicious food. The paella was served quickly, and they were extremely flexible on timing on the day. Their staff were very helpful and did not need support during set up. Vamos Paella catered for 110 people at our wedding providing canapes, paella, salads, dessert and hot dogs for the evening. Their fantastic team served, staffed the bar and kept everyone fed and watered all day.The food was delicious and the team were a big part of a smooth running day . We've had a number of people commenting on how great the food was as well as all of the staff. I think one of our biggest compliments we can pay is that we weren't aware of any of it going on - they all made it seem so effortless and just got on with it all and we were able to just enjoy the day without having to give it a second thought. Melissa and the team did a fantastic job catering for our wedding. Their tapas went down a treat with our champagne reception and their paellas looked and tasted brilliant for the main meal. We had lots of compliments from our guests on how wonderful the food was. Their service was really friendly and efficient - they ran the whole day for us, including manning the bar and providing delicious hot dogs and halloumi wraps in the evening and did a really thorough clear up afterwards. Melissa and her team were spectacular to deal with and the food simply superb. Vamos Paella catered for our wedding (105 adults and 44 kids) this July 2016 and couldn't have done a better job. As well as providing all food they provided us with plates, cutlery etc as well as waiters. Vamos Paella was excellent at helping us navigate through the whole process of wedding catering. And the food - well, it was AMAZING. I am half Spanish and had quite a few Spanish relatives attend and everyone agreed the paellas and tapas were wonderful.
