UTC supplied musicians (pianist, violinist and cellist) for our wedding ceremony at Colshaw Hall in May 2019 and also a six-piece band for the evening. All the musicians were wonderful - the ceremony music was perfect and the band had so much energy - the dance floor was full all night and we had loads of comments on how fantastic they were. UTC were flexible and open to all our requests, from classical music to Daydream Believer in the ceremony, and with our first dance (Is this love) which the band played and sang brilliantly. At the end of June 2019 my wife and I got married at Tickton Grange near Beverley in East Riding of Yorkshire. Back in 2018 we embarked on finding a band and after considering a few we found ‘Under the Covers’ to be the best and most professional. A representative allowed us to come see them perform at another gig they were doing at the Imperial War Museum in Manchester. Following this we decided to go ahead and book the 5-piece version of their band. They set us up in their CRM system which allowed us to enter information such as the type of music we wanted, specific songs and how they would fit into our special day. From a preparation point of view we were extremely impressed. On the night, after us running late which is perhaps inevitable, we met with the lead band member for the evening called Rowen. We were worried no one would dance but she assured us that people will probably get going after a few songs. We needn’t have worried as every single song they played had a full dance floor and the band themselves were fantastic. It felt like they were really engaging with us and our guests. They seemed like they were having a great time too. All in all, we felt like their involvement couldn’t have been any better and we can not recommend them enough. We hired UTC for our wedding last weekend and were so glad we did! We went for a 4 piece fronted by Joey who brought so much energy to the performance. Choice of songs was great and the dancefloor stayed full for both sets. So many friends and family were amazed at how good they were. We had a mix of old and young, and it really worked for both. Organisation was a pleasure as well, super professional approach from Adam, Naomi and the team with setup the day before and great sound quality. We hired Under the Covers for our wedding back in November after seeing them at our friends wedding the year before. We ended up having to bring our wedding forward by 18months due to family illness and they could not have been more accommodating and understanding. Joey looked after us and was so helpful, he even came to look at our venue before the wedding and to answer any questions face to face. The set list was fantastic and the dance floor was packed all night, even now people are still asking us for the details of the band so they can book them too! The band learnt our first dance and given that we only gave them a few weeks notice shows how talented they all are. They really are the best band ever! We just wanted to say thank you so so much for singing at our wedding at Hundith Hill on Saturday 22nd June. The UTC 6 band that we booked for our wedding day were incredible! They were everything that I remembered and more from when I booked at the wedding fair just over 18 months ago. I knew as soon as I heard the guys performing at the wedding fair (particularly Hayley who has a voice that is just out of this world!) that you were perfect for our big day. My husband has to rely on my good judgement and he was not disappointed. The band’s energy and enthusiasm was infectious; our family and friends were up on their feet all evening with a range of songs to suit everyone. The band sang such a wide variety of songs which catered for the diverse age range in the room- everyone from 5 to 90 thought you were They were so complimentary about the quality and professionalism of the band, and so inquisitive as to where I’d managed to find such an awesome band to travel up to Cumbria for our special day! A huge thanks to UTC for performing at our wedding at King Street Townhouse in Manchester on 29th June. You were simply amazing with a live performance that filled the dance floor all night and the band looked like that were having as much fun as we all did. Thanks to Naomi and the team for making the booking process very easy and enjoyable (choosing the setlist). Feedback from guests has been amazing and people still talk about it. We hired Under the Covers for the 2nd year running and I believe they were even better 2nd time round (and they were brilliant 1st time! !) From the point of contact, to the night of our Christmas Party, their service was second to none. They palyed a great mix of songs and the dancefloor was never empty. A special thank you goes to Naomi who I dealt with in the lead up to the event, nothing was too much trouble and every detail that was planned was put into place on the evening, with no hiccups. Which then leads me to say a special thank you to Dan, who was my point of contact on the evening. He called me as soon as he got there and nothing was too much trouble on the night. We chose UTC to be our wedding band after seeing them live this time last year and we never looked back! They were so helpful and professional from the very beginning, whether it was choosing songs or even sorting details out with the location themselves! They took so much work off our hands when preparing for our big day and then didn't they deliver! we and all our guests were blown away!! UTC were our wedding band on 29.09.18 and were utterly incredible! They were the highlight of the day, not only for the bride and groom but also for all of our guests. The 7-piece were just outstanding and I would whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone and everyone! They played such a wide selection of music and played all of our chosen songs and many more. One of my favourite moments was our first dance song (Say you won't let go, by James Arthur) that was played acoustically - AMAZING! Thank you UTC for helping to make our special day so memorable. I had 'DJ live' - Mark Jay Djing and a singer, sax and percussionist to play at my 21st birthday party... well what a night, it was an amazing happy medium between a band and . DJ! Many guests said it was the best party they had ever been to... this is partly due to the amazing work of Joey at UTC and the guys who performed on the night. You performed at a friend's wedding on 25th August, and you were fantastic. Every single person in the band - male & female vocalist, trumpet, keys, sax, electric and bass, drums - were so super talented and were obviously having so much fun right along with us. It was hilarious when they first started; they did a beautiful rendition of "Wonderful World", but I didn't actually realise it was this live band performing, so when the male vocalist started singing, I thought "Oh, wow, I didn't know Michael Bublé had done a cover of this song!" And the female vocalist, I mean, wow! Let's just say that Christina Aguilera would be very proud. You guys were amazing :) More...
