What’s your interior design process?
At Urbanist Interior Design we have a keen focus on listening to our client's needs. The most crucial part of any design process is the initial design brainstorm between the client and the designer. See how you can start your design process in three easy steps
STEP ONE
This is a great opportunity for us to meet each other, whether it's over the phone or on a zoom call. We are here to offer you guidance on your space and how to make the most out of it. From talking through colour schemes to new layout suggestions, any question is welcome! All we require are a few pictures of the space prior to our conversation so that we can make the most of our time!
STEP TWO
Whether you have already had a consultation with me or you already have an idea of what you would like, this is where you can choose from the services we have to offer. From personalised mood boards to a complete room re-design we are here to guide you through the process.
STEP THREE
This is the final step in the process, we have had our consultation and chosen the specific services for your project. we will then pull together a bespoke package for you.

What do you love most about your job?
I love to meet people and bring their dreams to life, being a social person it is always lovely to hear client ideas and work together with them.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I worked within the product development and buying world for the last 6 years, I realised I was not able to express myself creatively in my last role. Covid had a huge impact on the decisions I have made over the last year, like many I found myself working from home confined to a small flat in London. Having always had a passion for Interior Design I felt it was now or never and I saw lots of people trying new things in these unprecedented times. A year on and I have a small interior business I couldn't be more proud of!
Why should our clients choose you?
I pride myself on being extremely personable, your home is your sanctuary and it is important we work together to ensure your vision can come to life. Communication is key within the design process and I ensure I am available for my clients, listening to ideas and helping to guide you in the right direction.

Yes at the moment I am only providing online/remote services. This will change by September I will offer residential visits etc
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Working online has been the biggest change, until things become clearer I feel we can work together effectively enough to still ensure you get the best service regardless of it being remote
Mood boards
At Urbanist Interiors we create digital mood boards for your space, this is vital to any design project as it helps to bridge the gap between language and visuals, ensuring everyone is on the same page before moving onto the design phase. Each mood board curated includes paint colours, different material options if required as well as all furnishings.
2D and 3D Floorplans
Floor plans can help with any major design changes you would like to make to your space, from simply rearranging furniture to create a fresh look or starting from scratch. They enable you to visualise your space from a different angle and make grand design changes before committing time and resources. All floor plans that we design will include furniture, flooring and paint colour options. Floorplans can be offered in 2D format or 3D
Digital Shopping List
A digital shopping list paired with a mood board is a fantastic tool to get you started with your new design. This allows you to shop for the products included in the mood board straight from the links and is downloaded in an excel format. A digital shopping list helps you to manage your budget by outlining any potential costs from the outset.
