Urban property maintenance (UPM)

Urban Property Maintenance (UPM) recently completed an extensive property renovation for us in SW16, and I must say, we couldn't be more pleased with the results. This comprehensive project involved a full interior overhaul, encompassing paint and decoration, wall skimming, and the alteration of a few walls. UPM expertly handled all aspects of the renovation, including plasterboarding and installing new walls etc.

One notable advantage of working with UPM was their ability to source materials at a reduced cost. They facilitated a 20% discount on engineered wood flooring, which we ordered through their trader account. Furthermore, their partnership with Builders Depot allowed us to access general building materials at a more economical rate.

The exterior of our house needed significant attention and UPM delivered with a complete repointing, which in all fairness has left our home looking outstanding. They even advised us to seek a new property valuation, as we all believe the renovation has substantially increased the value of our house.

The UPM team deserves a recognition for their exceptional work. Not only are they highly skilled professionals, but they also great in communication and the staffs and contractors are very friendly. As someone who lives just three doors away from the property, I had the opportunity to monitor the project's progress closely. I must admit that when I first saw the house gutted out, I had doubts about the project being completed within this year. However, UPM surprised us all by completing the entire project in 43 days i believe.

In addition to the interior and exterior work, UPM also done the renovation of the kitchen, bathrooms. I wanted the bedrooms to be soundproofed but wasn’t sure what to buy. UPM recommended acoustics sheet from a the main retailer which it worked out cheaper. Our garden was also given a makeover, including the decking and decking drainage.

I am very satisfied with UPM's work and I have given them another property and we gladly recommend their services to others.

They've made what could have been a daunting project remarkably smooth, even accommodating changes in our plans. I have allowed UPM to use photos of my renovation on their instagram page so fell free to have a look.
