What do you love most about your job?
Meeting different people. Everyone has their own character, and I find most people fascinating.
When it comes to doing any job, I must admit that I am a little OCD.
Any job that I do, must be done properly otherwise, why bother!
What inspired you to start your own business?
In 2007, I had a blocked drain and called out a well known company to clear it.
The fee that I paid was half my mortgage payment for the month, and I asked... Why is it so expensive? I was just told, that is the price!
I don't believe in ripping people off, and people shouldn't have to pay such high prices for a job that only takes between 10 to 60 mins.
So I attended a college and found out as much as possible and needed.
I already worked full time, but in my spare time I started unblocking peoples drains, and people were more than happy to pay me £50 for a great job well done.
I took early retirement when I was 55, but continue to unblock & clean drain, sinks, toilets ect. I enjoy what I do, and it gives me an oddly sense of satisfaction seeing a drain unblock after I've worked on it!
We have also added pressure washing to our list, because it's also something else that gives us great satisfaction when we can bring a smile to the customers face.
We are both semi retired, and our rates are very affordable... We haven't yet found anyone who can beat our prices!

In 2023, we have noticed a lapse in social distancing, but some customers still practice it, and that is fine by us.
Gone are the days of a handshake, but the odd few still prefer it, especially after a good job well done.

Gutter Cleaning
Gutter cleaning in 2 parts.. Firstly, we vacuum your gutters using our 3000 watt machine, with extended carbon fibre poles. Then we clean the outer side of the guttering, using telescopic carbon pole and brush head.
This also includes the fascia, soffit, & down pipes.
If we come across any stubborn growths in the guttering, we will remove it y hand, which will involve the use of ladders.
