What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
A relaxed atmosphere, good rapport and great lighting.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What are the photographs for? For example, if you are an actor, what role are you considering. A comedians headshot would be different to that of a classical Shakespeare actor. The more that we know about you, the better we can bring your true character out in the photograph.
What do you love most about your job?
Interacting with people and seeing their face when I show them the photographs.
What inspired you to start your own business?
A passion for working with people on a day to day basis and being in control of the creative outcome.

We will provide some great quality images in a relaxed atmosphere. All photoshoots include a professional retouch service so that your images will be perfectly balanced and prepared for printing or publishing.
£80 Headshot session
30 minute session at the Violet Studio in Thatcham, where we will take between 80 and 120 images.
Great for linkedin and corporate headshots.
During this process, i will guide you through the shoot to catch your best side and get the perfect confident but approachable expression.
We will review the images together on the large screen in the studio as we shoot.
I will then provide a link to where your images can be reviewed online as soon as you arrive home, so that you can choose 2 with the help of family and friends that will be gently retouched and delivered electronically (with full copyright permissions to print).
If you like the images so much that you want more than 2, then additional images can be purchased at £20 each.
£150 Headshot session
1 hour session at the Violet Studio in Thatcham, where we will take between 200 and 250 images.
Great for Actors and performing artists who want a variety of different images.
During this process, i will guide you through the shoot to catch your best side and get the perfect confident but approachable expression.
During the shoot we will change the lighting and there will be time for you to change outfits. We will also shoot with different backgrounds.
We will review the images together on the large screen in the studio as we shoot.
I will then provide a link to where your images can be reviewed online as soon as you arrive home, so that you can choose 4 with the help of family and friends that will be gently retouched and delivered electronically (with full copyright permissions to print).
If you like the images so much that you want more than 4, then additional images can be purchased at £20 each.
