Will Writing
We provide a simple, cost-effective and thorough Will Writing service to customers across the UK. We can either provide a face-to-face service (albeit with social distancing measures in place currently), or remotely via telephone/video call.
It is so important to get a Will correct as your legacy depends on this document; this is why we provide an indepth, personalised and more holistic approach to Wills & Estate Planning.
As part of our service, we provide a Will Clarity Statement and Execution Statement free of charge, which gives our clients and their family an added layer of protection to minimise the chances of the Will being successfully challenged in the future.
Lasting Powers of Attorney
Lasting Powers of Attorney are powerful legal documents that allow you to appoint somebody you trust to handle your health and welfare matters, and/or property and financial affairs should you become unable to manage your own affairs, either because of ill health , or if you are in an accident, for example.
Due to the current Covid situation here in the UK, we are seeing an increase in clients implementing Lasting Powers of Attorney and therefore, we can act quickly and without fuss to help clients put these in place.
A Lasting Power of Attorney comes into force when you become physically incapable, or lose mental capacity , to run your own affairs.
General Powers of Attorney
Extremely relevant to the current state of affairs, General Powers of Attorney can be implemented quickly and for a limited time period if required. For instance, if you are shielding or self-isolating and you require someone you trust to make financial decisions on your behalf, such as pay bills, go to the bank or withdraw money. General Powers of Attorney automatically terminate if the donor loses mental capacity and therfore are often used as a temporary measure.
