Being the best human in the world when we go to collect our waggy friends, plus all the kisses!!
What inspired you to start your own business?
We share a love for animals and the great outdoors, among many other things (particularly travel and good food). Two P’s in a Pod Pet Care has allowed us to incorporate the things we love into everyday life and we cannot express enough how much we adore spending our days caring for your pets.
Why should our clients choose you?
At Two P's we are committed to delivering pet care packages which ensure both you and your pet are well cared for and stress-free. The safety of your best friend is always our number one priority which is why we have carefully developed policies and standard operating procedures that ensure their safety is never compromised. For example, to ensure your doggy responds to our recalls and feels comfortable in our company, we enforce an off-lead process. This process includes a full consultation, warm-up walkie before your acceptance of our services, and at least 3 on-lead walks. Following these steps, we then require acceptance from both parties, that Two P’s and your doggies are a good match. We can then proceed with off-lead walks.
Dog Walking
Let Us Take The Lead:
Putting our love for dogs and long walks aside, we have developed our dog walking service to suit you. Solo walkies are available to all, for those that want to progress to Group Walkies (which is only on the agreement from the owner) the below process is always followed.
Strolling Solo:
We like to ensure that all our new clients are allowed the time they need to get used to The Two P’s, for this reason we ensure all our doggie clients are walked on solo walks and on the lead for a minimum of three occasions before we discuss going off-lead with you.
Once we are happy that they respond well to our voices, our company and have embarked on a minimum of three on-lead walks with us we sign an off-lead declaration form letting you know that we are happy to walk them off-lead. We leave this form out for you and ask, that if you are happy for the off-lead process to start, that you sign this and leave it out for us to collect before our next walkie.
Group Walkies:
Two P’s only group dogs together that we feel are compatible with age, temperament and exercise needs. This process can only commence when doggies are off the lead, and have been off the lead with The Two P’s for a minimum of three occasions. To introduce doggies from separate households two members of The Two P’s will arrive individually at a safe and secure neutral walking location and introduce the doggies with loose leads. The individual parties then separate and meet up again later on during the walk, with the second introduction being on or off lead (at the discretion of The Two P’s). If all has gone well all parties will return from the walkie in the same transportation vehicle, if applicable, further cementing their relationship as a group. Two P’s do not group doggies together that have not been introduced using this process. No more than four doggies are walked together on a group walkie.
Loyalty Package
Use The Two P’s for 9 walks per month and your 10th is on us.
Puppy Visits
Puppies are an exciting addition to any family; however, in most cases you cannot always be around to occupy, snuggle and train (wouldn’t that be the dream). To help your puppy settle into their new home and minimise havoc, we are available for puppy visits.
Our puppy visits include;
Food and water top-up (perhaps even a delicious treat if they’ve been good).
Clean-up of any mess they’ve managed to create.
Plenty of play and stroke time.
Text and photo updates to give you your puppy fix.
We can adapt our service to suit your puppies needs so whether it’s a lengthy visit over lunch or a couple of quick visits during the day, we can certainly accommodate.
Golden Oldies
We can also pop in and see your elderly dogs – let them out for a tinkle, top up their water bowls and of course, give them lots of well-deserved attention.
Small Pet Visits
Even your cats, rabbits and chickens need Two P's when you're out and about. We’ll pop in and top up their food and water, clean litter trays if required and even fit in a cuddle and play.
