Came here for a night stay part of my partners birthday treat.must say she fell in love with it.i saw a few others in York but like the look of the pods and I wasn’t wrong. comfy bed clean and tidy little heater to keep you warm.will visit this place again but in the warmer months.we had a meal at parvin Indian restaurant and came back to a couple of bottles of wine.so will recommend this place to friends. My friend and I stayed here for one night and it was great clean and well kept. We had 2 single beds which we requested before hand. The heater is very good and warmed the pod up very quickly and stayed warm all night. Hot water bottles and a kettle are provided but we didn’t need them. It was lovely and peaceful all night. Toilets and showers are a short walk away. There is a bus stop at the end of the road but check bus timetable as they don’t run often or a taxi is £9 into town. Park and ride is also available not to far away free to park and the bus was £3.50 return. Lovely place would stay again. More...

What a lovely little place, we went with our two small dogs and loved it, cafe on site came in handy for brekki, sausages sandwich was good, little pricey. Shower blocks n loos spot on, my only hang up was the unreliable bus service, and we couldnt find a path to walk in to York centre from the campsite, its on a very buzy road with no public footpath only a grass verge which my dogs disappeard in it was that long. We have never been glamping before but we will definitely be going here again. We stayed in one of the pods, which were cosy and warm as well as spacious, and the bed was so comfortable. The facilities are spotless, including the showers and toilets. It is quiet, excellently laid out, not all crammed together, we still had plenty of privacy to sit on the balcony with a BBQ going, as the layout of the pods means that they are not all facing the same way. The site is easy to find, thanks to the clear instructions provided, and once you get on site, the entry instructions were clear and easy to follow also. The taxi into York city centre only costs £10.50 as its only 3 miles, so ideal location as well. There is also a frequent Park and Ride as well as local bus stop nearby if you prefer those options. We will definitely be returning to stay here as we loved it. More...

This place is such a nice place to go after a busy day/night in York city it’s so peaceful! ||We stayed for three nights in pod named Finch and it was lovely nice space in the pod very cosy and clean all that you’d want and need in a pod. |Toilets are literally a 30 second walk around the corner and wasn’t a inconvenience at all, you didn’t get muddy walking to the showers as it’s all stoned and showers where great. ||The camp has a ace cafe/farm shop with great food the full English breakfast is massive and is more then substantial to keep you going for the majority of the day. ||We decided to get Uber’s back and forth from the city which actually isn’t that far but to far to walk really, Uber’s costed on average £8 per trip. ||This place was a cheaper and more fun alternative to a hotel and definitely worth a visit. || More...

We stayed in Cuckoos Nest, this was the former reception area for the glamping pods that has been converted into a stand-alone glamping unit. We had a pleasant stay and would consider this place again as the overall experience was very good. Location is great 3 miles from York, a bus is only £3.40 return and picks up and roos off every hour just outside the main entrance. Wiggington/Haxby village are 25 minute walk away, with good pubs and takeaways. It is glamping so dont expect 5 star luxury but its quality bedding makes it feel just as good. Toilets/ shower block were OK, clean but could maybe be updated. Loved sitting around the firepit until late enjoying a few refreshing drinks before retreating to bed. More...

We went into York for the Soul Legends and it only cost £9 for the taxi. The pod was very clean and the check in and out very quick and easy. I would only have 1 small complaint in that the metal cabinet was locked and we had no space to store anything which made the pod look a bit untidy and crowded. More...

Stayed at the little hide the first weekend in August, which is a glamping camp site for adults only, the pod was spacious, clean and comfortable. Considering you are basically camping, the facilities were good standard. With BBQ and fridges located on site for your use. We took our dog,with them having 4 pods that allow dogs, there was a lovely walk around a pond, and through I little gate,walk to the village.||We decided to take the bus to York, which allowed the dog on, which you can catch at the end of the drive. There is also a lovely little cafe on site, for those who don't want to take all the camping equipment, can get a cooked breakfast etc.||If your looking for a quiet get away I would recommend this place More...

We went to a wedding at Sandburn hall and wanted a place to stay for the night and we seen the little hideaway! It is lovely, it has everything you need, heaters, ear plugs if it’s too loud, can be a little hard to find drunk and in the dark but a lovely couple who was walking their dog helped us so thank you to them haha
