I honestly do not know where to start. I first approached Joe when my son who is in year 7 decided he wanted to improve in Maths. The honesty and care both Harry and myself have received is unreal - Harry confidence has improved massively and this has shown in what he is now achieving at school. Harry enjoys every session and it is never a chore, this highlights to me just what Joe is doing for him. Had been looking for a tutor for a while with no luck. I came across Tutorly home tutoring page on Facebook and well... best move ever. My son (year 10) struggles with confidence within lessons and very easily can be missed which is making him fall behind in a few areas. We had our initial meet with Joe, explained fully what my son was after. Joe then explained to my son how he can help him. He has a great way of speaking to the children, not at them and his patience with them is just brilliant! My son was happy about having such a ‘cool’ tutor! Sadly lockdown then came and we moved to zoom lessons - Within ONE lesson and the support from Joe, my son the next day got a ‘positive’ report from school for his extra effort in one of his struggling subjects. The boost and confidence Joe has given my son in such a short space of time is brilliant and for my son knowing there is someone there that has the time to explain things over and over if needed is just brilliant.
