What do you love most about your job?
Witnessing the academic progression of a student over the course of a tuition course is hugely rewarding. Not only do we gain satisfaction from seeing our students progress through grades, but also develop a love for learning that can have far-reaching, profound consequences in their academic lives and beyond.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The tuition sector is full of companies that care only for profit. They employ non-specialists to recommend tuition courses that do not help students progress academically, and end up costing huge amounts for relatively little return. We were fed up of providing a service that was not only inefficient in promoting academic progression, but also heavily immoral. TutorBlue is rooted in the belief that our student's academic progression comes before profits.
Why should our clients choose you?
We offer each student a personalised 15-minute tuition consultation with an experienced, real-life tutor. This allows us to develop a programme that is effective in achieving a student's academic goals, whether this is to gain confidence in a subject, or to progress from a C grade to an A. We also do not charge for multiple sessions, instead offering them on a rolling basis so that tuition can adapt with the changing needs of each student.
