These people are not solicitors.
My mother contacted these in Aug 21 and paid £6k for 2 Wills, 4 LPA’s and a Trust. The Wills and LPA’s needed amending and we emailed in Oct and Dec and received no amended documents and NEVER received a Trust, so we retrieved the £6k from the bank (within the 120 days). Trustmark didn’t realise that either for months either.
We took legal advice, from Solicitors, who said the Trust can be more problematic because of Capital Gains tax and other matters, that they would deem it bad advice.
‘Which’ have a very simple calculator that is free to use and my parents estate is way below the IHT rate, another reason a Trust (costing £4450) is not best advice, and unnecessary.
Trustmark have taken us to the Small Claims court and my mother got the date wrong for the case to be heard in Jan 22 so the judge awarded in their favour and we have reluctantly paid their costs and for the useless Wills and LPA’s £2451.
We only received a draft Trust in the Court documents in November 22, some 15months after originally paying for it, but wouldn’t use it now that we’ve spoken to a Solicitor. The bailiffs have since arrived and my parents paid the £4450 for a Trust that has never been implemented and is deemed bad advice.

In August 21 my mother contacted these from an advert and paid £6k for 2 Wills, 4 LPA’s and a Property Trust, the details of which all needed amending so we emailed in October and December as they didn’t investigate matters thoroughly but we never heard from them in this regard so the documents were useless. By January 22 we still hadn’t received any amended Wills or LPA’s despite emailing them, and no Trust at all. It also transpired, after using the Which calculator, that my parents are well below the Inheritance Tax Limit so a Trust costing £4450 wasn’t necessary. And, on taking legal advice from a solicitor, not these people pretending to be solicitors, that setting up this Trust can cause more problems, with Capital Gains tax and other matters, that this, in a REAL solicitor’s opinion would be bad advice. We got our £6k back from the bank but they’ve taken us to the Small Claims Court. My mother got the date of the court case wrong so we weren’t there to speak to the Judge and so he found in their favour. We’ve reluctantly paid £2451 for the useless Wills and LPA’s and the bailiffs have now arrived and collected the £4450 for the Trust that we never received until the court hearing some 15 months later. We have no clue what to do with the Trust and, as previously mentioned, have been advised it’s not good advice so £6k has been paid for nothing. Mark Briggs visited us and spent an afternoon advising and recommended products to us. I felt there was a slight bias pointing us toward some products we didn’t need. We settled for mirror wills and a funeral plan which we paid for up front. After some weeks we had not received documents for funeral plan or wills I called Trustmark.
