Dog Training

Loved working with Georgie. She’s so patient and positive, and established a superb relationship with our puppy. Working with her again after new year.

Q&As

I love seeing the bond between dog and owner grow, gaining more understanding of canine behavior can really make you see just how clever your dog is. Seeing improvements in their behavior is so rewarding, and while I am there to help, it's all the wonderful work of both owner and dog and that's so lovely to see what people can achieve. We see how special these animals really are.

I worked in rescue for 4 years and while it's very rewarding work, it can also be very emotionally taxing. I decided I wanted to be one step before dogs were handed into rescue, to try and prevent that being the only option. I love all the dogs and clients I meet, every dog, owner and circumstance is individual and that's what keeps my work so interesting and challenging.

I have a passion for working with not only dogs but the humans they come with! I keep up to date with all the latest research and I am constantly attending seminars, workshops and courses to extend my knowledge and keep it fresh.

Working in rescue for 4 years was a great experience to work with hundreds of dogs on a daily basis. Working with the most extreme of behaviors and multiple breeds., and really having the think outside the box.

I also am an accredited yoga teacher which helps me to coach people on handling and remaining calm.

I do both remote and in person sessions. I have found remote has worked really well over lockdown and you can get just as much out of the sessions. There are some occasions however where it is better for me to see the behavior in person unless you are able to safely provide videos.

I keep up to date with the latest guidelines and keep in touch with my insurance and the local council. Sometimes restrictions mean I need to work online only, or in outside spaces. I try to handle the dog less where possible and I am open to make any changes to make my customers feel more comfortable. I also have a certificate in COVID- 19 safety.
